Bus Company Harrisburg reviews
19First, the bus was an hour and a half late from the departure time. And when we finally got in, it stopped in the middle of nowhere because “it didn’t have fuel” and we literally were stuck waiting for more than 3 hours. Also the costumer service was horrible, they didn’t even try to explain the situation or didn’t try to make it up for us.
The capital of Pennsylvania was just a stop on a cross country trip. I was only there a few moments. I cannot say much good or bad about the visit.
I’m not happy with the out come of my service today, I couldn’t get a refund back because of my change of circumstances. Non- refundable because of me choosing a economy package and there wasn’t any other packages available but that. It’s not fair at all. Greyhound should have a policy implemented that people can get a refund before the trip is scheduled the next day even half the money back. Things happened and sometimes it’s out of your control. So why not refund back the money instead of keeping it. I work hard for my money why should the company keep it for free. Greyhound please do better for your customers. If Amtrak refund back your money or even half why can’t greyhound. I will not be booking another trip with them again.
Nice train ride to Harrisburg on amtrak and am staying at a bed and breakfast on the susquehanna River called the Bridgeview bed & breakfast
It has been the WORST experience ever!
The bus is delayed since 11: 15 am and every hours is a new delay again. It’s 3: 00 pm and we all are still here with no explanations.
The wifi does not work and there is no food court or food truck to have some meal at least.
Had a bad experience with greyhound back in early March, My grandson luggage was taken from under the bus, I filed a lost baggage claim report, got the runaround, his luggage has never been recovered, and til this day I am wondering what adult takes a suitcase full of kids clothes, realizes its not theirs and doesn't turn it in? I feel like when people go through incidents like this there should be some type of small compensation for them, maybe like a discount on future trips or something. My grandson birth certificate/ social security card and all other important papers were in that suitcase, its just a shame.
Giving one star so perhaps I’ll have this answered. I come to this station VERY frequently and occasionally ask the attendant if they can print a ticket for me. Today the attendant said that technically, they were supposed to charge me a WHOLE NEW ticket to print it, but as a “one time courtesy” he would print it for free this time. Is this true? Even at the State College station, I’ve never heard this rule, they charge me $5.00 max over there. I’ve never been charged at Harrisburg station for printing a ticket. Ever. I’ve never even been scolded like this for asking to have a ticket printed.
Today wasn’t even on me, because I selected an E- Ticket on the website even though this bus didn’t allow E-Tickets (it usually wouldnt let you do this on the site, it must have been a glitch) so I thought it would be a Greyhound bus. When I told the attendant this, he said it wasn’t possible and I must have selected print at home, even though I know what I booked.
Has a shop, decent bathrooms, and plenty of space to relax while waiting for a bus. Near enough to shops and restaurants so you can eat something substantial if you have an hour or more to kill, too.
Ok for travel. Downtown is looking up. Ybe bus terminal could use an upgrade. The capitol complex is a good see and ever-expanding between downtown and midtown.
This place is a mess if you have to catch a early bus at 4 or 5 am the doors are locked nothing is open you have to wait outside that is not safe and if a bus is coming in you cannot buy any snacks same thing with the train station at least have the station open and security walking around
Had a transfer here. Bus driver was incredibly rude and as a first time rider was not happy. I was giving them a chance but i think ill stick with Amtrak. Much better service and most staff is very nice on the train
Leave the Driving to us.
Go Greyhound
It’s nice to see how GLI agencies operate
My experience at the station was awful. My 2: 40 express bus to Pittsburgh was delayed until 3: 15 or that was our last and only update. Finally the 6: 10 non express bus arrived and we got on that. We were never given an update on our bus. I am certain they did know our bus was never coming. Station was grungy. Thankful the weather was nice enough to sit outside. Bus itself was fine or good enough.
It's a change for me and which I am getting around pretty good and which I used my GPS to get around. And it's not alot of seafood? Places. Like where I am from
Great place to visit. There are lots of fun places to visit Broad St Market is my favorite food place to visit.
We had a layover at the train station and what we saw was very nice people seem friendly there and it looks like a clean area to live in
RUN! GET OUT OF HERE! HARRISBURG IS HORRIBLE THE COPS WILL LET YOU DIE BEFORE THEY ACTUALLY HELP
Got here 5am everywhere locked unlike all d other greyhound bus add station and d weather was freezing cold but d whole environment is neat and safe
If you transfer to Fullington you'll need physical tickets, don't pay the clerk $5, he'll harass and extort you for not printing it, and maybe even threaten to cancel your ticket and make you repay. Someone fire this guy.
