Harrisburg Foot and Ankle Center

I really appreciated the advice on my situation and the doctor offered multiple options to consider before jumping immediately to surgery.

I scheduled an appointment a week and a half ago, and was ready for my appointment tomorrow and now I find out that I’m scheduled for a week from now and at a different time. Now I have to wait for another week in pain and another week of not being able to go to work. I didn’t mishear the time and date when I made the appointment, yet they act like it’s my fault? ! Terrible service, how can they mess up such a vital thing.

Dr Rien was very thorough. Made sure I understood everything. He took his time with me. I didn't feel rushed. He was very knowledgeable and explained my situation in detailed. It was a great experience. I would recommend him highly.

It was my first time getting a toe procedure done, so I was a little nervous. Dr. Treaster did a wonderful job explaining what she was going to do and how she was doing it. She put me at ease by the time the procedure started. I was taken back right at my appointment time and the whole procedure took about 20 minutes with numbing being 15 of those minutes. I highly recommend going here if you want kind doctors who do efficient work.

Dr. Grossman I swear is a magic man. After going to a Ortho urgent care facility first, I still kept this appointment. Dr. Grossman did different things with my foot and compared it to the other and explained in detail what my issue was. Let's just say it wasn't what I was previously told.
I will be excitingly continuing my foot care with him.

From setting up an emergency appointment and seeing a doctor, everything was top notch. Dr. Matthew Rien was exceptional and a caring doctor. He was patient and sensitive to my concerns and was thorough in explaining all my options. I definitely will be returning to have him take care of my feet. Theresa, his assistant was pleasant and very professional as well as friendly.

From the ladies at the front desk to the Dr I worked with my experience was excellent to say the least.

If you're a new patient I would recommend not listening to what the schedule say because they will tell you wrong. I had a specific situation set up with a scheduler he told me I did not have to be there 15 minutes early if I completed my paperwork online. The woman at the front desk was rude and disrespectful so I got rude and disrespectful back I'll go somewhere else I can barely walk on my foot and nobody can make an exception that's crazy I don't want to be seen by people like this anyway

I received a text msg.on my phone letting me know that I owed money for the one appointment I had at the Harrisburg office. In trying to obtain information about the bill, which I have not received, my initial call was forwarded to another "number", and I was supposed to leave a voice message to a 140003? Or use the phone number on the billing statement. I tried phoning the office again and someone immediately hung up on me. When I dialed the office number again, I talked with a Cody in Hagerstown, MD. I have no problem with the service that I received from the doctor - only the incompetency of the Harrisburg, Linglestown Rd.office.

First time seeing a podiatrist. I was scheduled pretty quickly, within a week of calling. This office is great! Front desk ladies extremely nice! Wait room time.ten minutes or less. Exam room wait…no wait. Dr Rien was courteous and explained everything really well. I was comfortable and satisfied with every aspect.

I have been seeing the doctors at Harrisburg Foot and Ankle Center for quite a few years. All the doctors are down to earth, easy to talk to and are concerned with correcting the problem at hand.
I highly recommend this practice for anyone looking for a podiatrist.
Dr. Yarmel has been caring for me for quite a few years and he recently did a joint replacement and it is taking care of the pain I had with walking.

My family and I have been using Hbg Foot and Ankle for several years. We’ve never had a bad experience. You are seen quickly by courteous staff. Dr. Yarmel is very thorough and explains things so it’s easily understood. We find him very practical, friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend him and this practice!

No problem with the doctor. A few weeks later received a short cryptic text telling me to pay my outstanding balance. I never received a statement or bill-just this text and later a similar email. It looked fishy to me so I tried to call and couldn't get a live person on the line. I had other ways not available to the normal patient to get through to an actual human being and was told yes this text is legit. Someone called me from the office and told me to call their billing directly. I called and got the endless music. Just be aware you may get rid of the pain in your foot but the billing and payment is a pain somewhere else. I wonder if I will ever get a statement so I have a record for HSA, I doubt it at this point.

Dr Rien is always pleasant and helpful in treating my calluses. He does a good job of explaining treatment plans and takes time to listen. I would recommend him.
