A cozy little place with a lot of seating, some snacks/drinks, and with fun performances and entertainment. Definitely a nice surprise to find in the city. Street parking only, but there's a lot of quiet streets around to find a spot on the weekend.
Check this theater, you will not regret it! They have shows every Friday and Saturday nights. Classes are available throughout the year. This is a great experience!
What a great experience! My wife and I went to watch a show one Friday night, and ended up on stage a few times doing improv scenes with more veteran students (NO pressure if you don't want to you don't have to of course, but we love getting outside of our comfort zones!).
It was a lively bunch, and the students and audience have a very friendly, welcoming vibe. The cozy venue ended up getting packed and it was really nice.
It's BYOB, but they do have snacks, soda, and water for sale.
If we weren't just in town visiting, we'd absolutely be coming to the Harrisburg Improv Theatre more! HIGHLY recommended.
