Hatboro Dish reviews
14The breakfast combo was excellent and reasonably priced. I can't think of the name. The pancakes, home fries, and bacon are highly recommended.really tasty It's an egg. The sausage wasn't to my taste. It was overdone or heated, and there wasn't much flavor. A wonderful mug of coffee ye.commastmastmas, and
Breakfast was good but very expensive. Highly recommend the cinnamon swirl french toast.
Metered parking.
Local family owned business with quality food, nice portions, and good people. They can accommodate newborns to 75+ yr.olds. They also have a good catering business that we've used often.
The breakfast combo was great and affordable. I don't recall the name. Highly recommend the pancakes, home fries and bacon. Very tasty. Eggs are eggs. Didn't care for the sausage. Not a lot of flavor and it was overcooked or heated. A great cup of coffee. I'll return.
I have been to The Dish on several occasions, but today I have decided to write a review. The Dish is a family run operation and you can feel the love that is poured into this place the second you walk in. If you are looking for a fancy restaurant that looks like it was designed by a big city hipster, this is not that kind of place. However if you are looking for a fantastic breakfast or lunch experience with food that looks and tastes like a home cooked meal and served by people that take pride in everything they do.then this IS YOUR PLACE.
On Sunday, I brought my family of 4 and another family of 3 with us to enjoy brunch. We were all starving because we had waited over an hour at another establishment and never were seated. At the Dish, we waited 15 mins only (on a busy Sunday) and they offered complimentary Mimosas and Bloody Mary's.already a plus in my book:)
All of us had breakfast, except one party member decided on a Cheese Steak and French Fries. The cheese steak was packed with meat and there were a ton of fries, he said that it was one of the better CS's he has had.
Myself and one of my son's ordered Breakfast Skillets and they were delicious. We had the Smokehouse and the South Philly.
My Wife had an omelet and substituted potatoes for a fruit cup and she is particular about not having cheese and the staff accommodated her with out question. My other son and our friend's daughter had the chicken and waffles and they were very generous portions. I believe it was a whole order of Chicken Fingers on a large waffle and the kids had to take some of it home.
Everyone loved their meals, the service was spectacular.
If you can get in Donna's section, do it.she's fantastic!
Good diner. Recognize as a diner open for breakfast and lunch. Order simple and you will not be disappointed. I just had a blt and it was great!
First time visiting here. Breakfast was great. Server read all the orders back for accuracy which is a huge plus. Will be visiting again!
The food was good with good sized portions. The price was perfect for what I got too. Definitely where I would want to eat the next time I walk through Hatboro again
First time going and will definitely be going back. Almost felt like a diner down the shore when I was a kid. Service was great and prices were extremely reasonable!
Good spot, quick service, to the point. Definitely has the "locals only" feel, but very friendly waitresses. For sure its many peoples "go to" Breakfast Spot, I imagine.
Definitely not the same. Utensils and cups are worn where you might want to bring your own utensils. Service and food were mediocre. I ordered cheese grits and was disappointed. Instead of putting the cheese in the grits, the 1slice of cheese layed on top of the grits.which were not creamy.
So yummy! You can tell a lot of love goes into their food. And we had some great conversations with patrons and the owner. Highly recommend!
Really great place. Sort of a cross between a diner and a traditional restaurant. Our breakfast was excellent. A bit pricey, but not unreasonable. We will definitely be returning!
Went for breakfast. One of the few places open at 6: 00 AM. They have typical breakfasts plus exotic omlettes and skillet dishes. They have pancakes and other sweet treats. Their hash brown potatoes are GREAT.will order their loaded potato skillet. Service was good and meal served quickly.
