Hatville Deli reviews
15Awesome sandwiches always great and place is clean and on point. I highly recommend this place! I usually get the turkey, roast beef, or chicken salad sandwiches. Usually can get a seat which is rare for Reading Terminal overall.
Decent sandwich and service. Good place to sit down and have lunch.
Not the best sandwich in Reading Terminal Market, but if you are in the hurry, a quick bite can be had here.
Recommend: pastrami sandwich
We took it to go and it got too squished to photograph. Pastrami sandwich was SO GOOD.
Not normally a sandwich person but would definitely come back for this one.
Wonderful family-run place. Okay I gave it five stars for atmosphere and I understand this is Reading Terminal Market it's not fine dining. But for a dose of a little rough-around-the-edges Philadelphia culture, the Terminal gets 5 stars.
As for the food, my corned beef special was the best corned beef ever. It was unbelievably tender and delicious. If you're not super hungry you can get two lunches out of one sandwich as well.
Great food and the team that works there was excellent. Highly recommend for a quick and memorable bite to eat.
The cross contamination at this place is unreal. They wear gloves but touch absolutely everything with them on. My grapes had egg yolk on them from her (the taller woman) cracking eggs holding the shells to the trash then grabbing grapes put on a plate grabbed the order pad and pen took an order grabbed meat to throw on the stove made a drink then folded up my wrap. She sat it down and I kindly said no thanks you just touched everything before rolling my wrap and I’m suppose to eat that? Wow, Then the short hair woman takes over and does the same exact thing to someone else order add the fact that she picks something off the floor to throw in the trash and continues on. (With same gloves) I absolutely enjoyed this place once upon a time… There’s video footage of the whole thing
Really good sandwiches, I had the “famous corned beef special combo” and it was really good. I had great flavors in my mouth. Very good value for money. Don't stay on your stomach.
Sandwiches are GREAT and at a Fair Price! Staff is Great and they make you feel welcome! I drive a ways and find a parking space in Center City just for a couple of their sandwiches! Fourth street deli is Trash, Ben and Irv’s is Trash, Hymie‘s is trash also! Hatville Deli has the Best sandwich hands down!
Best corned beef I've ever had. Reasonable prices. Everything's delicious. Also best pastrami, great cheese, everything's good and service is friendly as well. Love it.
Had the best roast beef special!

Amazing!
We will definitely be back!
This place is a gem! Service always solid. The sandwich is so good! I went back to back days. If you in Philly. Go to the reading terminal market and go here. Get the special! Love this place! They make the tea and it’s delicious.
Some of the best snacks I've ever had! The Pastrami sandwich is delicious, it's soft, my husband and I shared one, but it's easily eaten on its own because it's so good!
Excelent reception!
Corned beef and pastrami special were juicy and delicious! Pickles could have been better- thick skin and were more salty than vinegary.
I’ll be honest, probably the best meal I eat in Philly every time I go.
Guaranteed to be good.
The waitress is fantastic and fun to talk to.
If you are at Reading Terminal Market and looking for a guaranteed slam dunk, this is the place to go.
One of the best pastrami sandwiches I’ve ever had. The pastrami was juicy and tender with lots of flavor. The cole slaw and the dressing were very good.
