Haulman Physical Therapy, Altoona PA

I had my first appointment with Dr. Zach Haulman on Monday, March13. It was as one of the most thorough examinations I have ever received from any doctor. He is very knowledgeable, empathetic, kind, comforting and considerate. I will follow his recommendations to a tee, in the hopes of getting back to 100%!

My husband saw Zach for help with a fractured humerus. My hubby was also battling cancer and was not in a good place physically. Zach took so much time with him, tried to help him with pain relief, focused on doing things to help him get some normal back in his life. Some days he wasn't physically able to do parts of the workouts, Zach found other things to help him heal but accommodate his health. He took time, he chatted with him, he cared about him as a person not just a patient. He was kind to me when I would go along and watch therapy. He listened to things I would tell him about how my hubby was feeling. When he explained things, his knowledge of the body was very impressive and made me extremely comfortable that he knew just what to do for Todd. I recommend him to anyone that I know who needs therapy, with no hesitation! I was also thrilled when Brent came on board, that will only make a good thing better! Taylor also offers services that are much needed, and I have heard nothing but good things about her! We are fortunate to have this team in altoona!

I went to Haulman PT not knowing what to expect and dreading past experiences from other places. From the time I started until I finished, I felt like I was old friends with Zach and Brent. I was always treated like a priority, they were involved in my entire sessions and NEVER gave me an exercise only to walk away.

Zach provided one on one personal care that was exceptional and helped me recover in a quicker amount of time than expected. His outside the box, unique exercises, stretches and personal touch make Haulman PT truly remarkable.

My son Nick who is a golfer for BG was having a back issue. I Haulman Physical Therapy and Brent Dodson treated him for a couple of sessions. After a week and a half Nick is back playing again. Brent did a great job with him. I would recommend Brent to anyone!

I was diagnosed with vestibular neuritis June 1st 2022. I was referred to a physical therapist but their first availability wasn’t till the end of June. A friend was telling Zach about my condition and he told him I have a physical therapist who can help her. I was given Brent Dodson’s number he called me back the same day and I was beginning treatment the following day! Brent’s outstanding knowledge of neuro pt is top notch! Without Brent’s compassionate supportive care I wouldn’t be where I am today!

Zach has helped me tremendously! I am gaining mobility that I had thought I had lost. The best part about him is that you have his undivided attention. Previously, I had gone to another PT facility in the area. There, the PT evaluated me, and then I was handed off to an assistant. That is NOT the case with Haulman PT. Zach worked with me himself 100%. That makes a big difference.

Dr. Haulman provides services that go over and beyond what is expected. His detailed description of injury, while showing images of the area explaining why and what to do; to begin the healing process is excemplary! Haulman PT is the best place to go! I’m a high level wrestler and tore my labrum back in march. My doctor mentioned Zach and told me we should consider him. When I met Zach he was super nice and assured me he would have me back out on the mat at 100% by the time he was done with me. I’ve been going to pt for about 4 months and the results are amazing. Zach has been encouraging and motivating me to do my best since I’ve came here. I am so thankful for the friendship and mentorship I’ve made with zach and I recommend zach to any athlete or anyone who is looking to recover and feel better!

I’ve seen Zach and most recently Brent for ailments related to golf. I was super impressed by their attention to detail and I was even more impressed at their ability to treat me individually, and the fact that I wasn’t just a number in their clinic. Highly recommend. Really great guys.

Zach came in on a holiday to help me when a disc bulged in my back and I could not move. I am accident prone and Zach has been there for me every step of the way. I have had a few physical therapists in my day and by far Zach Haulman is the best! I would recommend him to everyone.
