Haven't been on a horse in over 40 years. It was a crisp, sunny morning that made the ride just perfect. There is a guide, but that was cool as there was only my female friend, myself, and the guide. It's just about an hour ride, total. Afterward, I felt like I just got off a horse. Highly recommend

You HAVE to experience a ride with Havens.had so much fun, and the guide was super informative and nice. The area was beautiful, and the horses were very disciplined.

Best horseback riding place we've ever gone to! True Western experience; not nose to tail following like other places. We even added a romantic dinner in a cute cabin.
We enjoyed it so much we booked another ride the very next day. We'll definitely be back and look forward to seeing both Ryan and Doug!

If you are looking for an AUTHENTIC horseback ride Havens Hideout Ranch is the place to go! I have been riding here about once a week for a little over a year, I knew nothing about a horse except that they a beautiful, intelligent animals! I have learned a lot about horses from Doug and Ryan and have progressed my riding level to take on some of the more advanced trails they have, Yee Haw! Yes, they have more than 25 trails to take you on, depending on your riding level. The trails are deep in the woods, some through creeks, some take you up hills and open up to the most spectacular views when you get to the top! They even host parties at the ranch, weather its a kids birthday party (I actually celebrated my 63rd birthday there this year with family and friends) an engagement or whatever you are celebrating, for a small fee you can ride and come back to a cozy fire around the fire pit, feel free to bring some hot dogs for roasting or s’mores too! Bottom line is if you haven’t been to Havens Hideout Ranch you’re missing out on a truly amazing experience!

This past Sunday, my girlfriend and I were lucky enough to participate in the romantic ride and dinner offered at Havens Hideout Ranch. It was such a good time. Doug, our guide, took us on a beautiful, long, and scenic ride through the trails they have on the property. The trails were advanced enough to make me feel like I was actually an experienced horseback rider (it was my first time) but the horses were so smart and well trained that they basically did all of the work! The property is beautiful and we loved every minute of our ride. After the ride we had a romantic, intimate dinner in a little cabin at the end of the ride. It was decorated beautifully in a quiet, secluded space. It really was a tremendous time and would love to do it again sometime.

Very enjoyable ride. Doug is a real cowboy, knows the ins and outs of horses. Very great place to escape and trail ride. Lots of terrain and ground to cover on well maintained horses. Don't pass up on a day to get out and explore.

Beautiful fall ride, could of not been a better day. Owner, Doug was very genuine and knowledgeable. We took a 2 hour long ride in all kinds of terrain, as we have prior experience riding. Horses are well cared for and responded well to our requests. The stable has a wild west feel to it, very quaint. I would recommend it. I plan on going back next month. Not your typical trail ride. Enjoyable!

Best place I have ever been to for riding horses! First place I have ever been to that lets you ride at your own riding level! Trail blazzing was a blast and climbing some hills! Highly recommend!

Great first time experience. Ryan was our guide and very knowledgeable. It was our sons first time and they made sure he was safe and he had the best time. As we were leaving he wanted to know when we are coming back. So probably very soon.

5 star experience! My husband, myself and our 3 children (in their 20’s) had a wonderful time and would be happy to come back! Doug & Ryan were knowledgeable, friendly guides. The horses were well trained and knew what to do. There was even the most incredible sunset at the end to top it off!

My boyfriend surprised me with a ride followed by dinner in the cabin and it was such a great time! Everyone there was amazing, the horses were pleasant and easy to handle, and the ride was beautiful. We definitely plan to go back and I can’t wait!

Doug was so kind and the whole experience was awesome. We loved riding and talking to Doug about his experiences training horses, learning about wild mustangs, petting the horses and enjoying the scenery. Highly recommend!
