I have played Guitar, trumpet and piano for the past 18 years and there has only been one place to turn to for advice and repairs. The technicians at Hawk are excellent, careful and detailed. Your jaw will hit the floor when you get to the register and you're being charged only about 1/4 of what you initially thought the cost of repair would be. I got my daughter’s violin fixed here for a fraction of the cost of what a place in Nazareth wanted. You can tell that the owner loves what he does. Plus, the classes are cheaper than elsewhere, and there is plenty of parking.

I've been playing guitar off and on for a long, long time. I played enough, and well enough to buy a Martin a few years ago. I have a couple of older electric guitars that I never played because I never had a good amp, and I never really was into it. I liked to play rhythm, and prefer acoustic guitars. Well, I found out that Dave Phillips closed, and I wasn't a fan of some of the other places in the area because they've gone down hill in recent years. So, I decided to give Hawk a try.

I brought in an electric guitar that I bought for $80 off a friend of a friend about 15+ years ago. Never really played it because it stayed out of tune no matter what I did to it. I had very low expectations for the setup and how it would affect the sound and play of the guitar. Well, when I went to pick it up, Phil said he was really impressed with how well the guitar improved from his setup. He even said there was no reason for me to consider spending a dime on another guitar. That obviously surprised me, maybe it's just because I'm ignorant about electric guitars.

So, I took it home in disbelief, as I was fully expecting to have to buy a new electric in the near future. I plugged it into my amp, and I was literally blown away. I am very, very happy with the value he's added to my life, and it didn't cost me an arm and a leg.

Phil was very kind and helpful. He answered all of my questions and was nice to talk to about guitar and music in general. I was really happy that he was able to not only set up my electric so I could finally start playing; but, I'm also happy that he gave me some tips about my Martin, and also gave it a nice set up.

I will not go anywhere else if I don't have to. Thank you for all your help!

Phil is THE MAN! If you need repair or proper setup of your guitar, there simply is no better place to go. I've been coming to Hawks Music for over 25 years and the quality of the work is superb, and honestly, I don't know how he stays in business with how little he charges. He could double his prices and still be competitive. Seriously.

Phil is a total pro. He did a quick repair on my guitar in no time at all, and cleaned/polished the neck leaving it feeling brand new. Highly recommend for any repairs.

I have been coming to Hawk Music my entire life! I remember shopping trips to the Westgate Mall.my Mom would go from store to store and I would be at Hawk's.staring at the guitars and listening to all of the musicians talk. I took my first guitar lessons here as a teenager, and bought my first guitar and amp here. Phil is a great guy, and the BEST guitar tech in town. He does all of my guitar work, and he can fix anything. Stop by and experience the friendy service for yourself!

Has everything I need! The workers are soooo friendly and the repairs are fast and professional. Prices are great and there are always cool things on sale. I also really like the rental plans here. With the five or nine month plan, it's way easier than having to pay each month. The lesson teachers are also amazing. They are so easy to talk to and aren't intimidating like some lesson teachers are. The teachers always work around your schedule so you can always fit in time for a lesson or two.

We've never been disappointed. Service second to none. Affordably prices, incredible service. Quality instruments and gear. Professional beyond words. Phil has his finger on the pulse of every music program in every school in the valley in. Amazing. RIGHT in our back yard. Follow the Star to Westgate. Hawk Music Rocks.

THIS WAS THE SECOND TIME RENTING FROM THIS PLACE. THE INSTRUMENT NEEDED TO BE FIXED SO WHEN I BROUGHT IT IN I FILLED OUT PAPERWORK AND THEY SAID IT WOULD BE DONE IN A FEW DAYS. I WAS NEVER CONTACTED WHEN IT WAS DONE AND WHEN I CALLED THEY COULDNT FIND THE INSTRUMENT OR MY PAPERWORK. SO THE NEXT TIME I WENT IN AND THEY COULD NOT FIND THE INSTRUMENT OR PAPERWORK AGAIN. NOW 2 WEEKS LATER I STILL RECEIVED NO PHONE CALL AND THEY TELL ME ITS BEEN THERE THE WHOLE TIME. WHAT A JOKE. AFTER THIS YEAR I WILL NEVER RENT FROM THEM AGAIN AND IM SURE ILL BE CHARGED FOR RENT FOR THE 2 AND A HALF WEEKS THEY HAVE GIVEN ME THE RUNAROUND. THEY WERE VERY UNORGANIZED AND WILL NEVER DEAL WITH THIS STORE AGAIN

It's a great place. A wonderful music store. It has wonderful employees and extremely talented teachers. I learned a lot from them! I highly recommend Hawk Music!

I've had my daughter's flute repaired here. They did a great job, very fair pricing and the turnaround time was quick.

Truly best place in the valley for guitar services. Great staff and fantastic prices. Phil is by far best guitar tech. On top of all the rest my son takes lessons here. Since coming here his skills have improved dramatically thanks to the dedicated teachers. Bottom line love this place.

I've known Phil Hawk for a few years aND he's a really cool guy and a great musician. He's a got a cool little store and he's always able to fix all my guitar issues. Every time I go I run into someone I know and we all end up talking for an hour. Always a good time!

Been coming here for twenty years, and never had a bad experience. Phil is great and always does a great job with the guitars and is much more reasonably priced than guitar center or similar (for much better work). He's also always willing to get something for you if its not in stock.

Also a good place to come for lessons - different teachers with different styles depending on what you're looking for.

It's the perfect local music store, and I still drive an hour to get my guitars worked on since I moved away!
