Hazelwood Green, Pittsburgh PA

I work with Landforce and the weeds out here are insane. The area itself will be really nice eventually but there's a LOT of work for such small crews to deal with.

This area is becoming very gentrified like most of the city Pittsburgh. The area is slowly being redeveloped but not with the locals in mind that are from the neighborhood. I am sad to see the charm and character Hazelwood had just a turn into a commercialized and artificial community.

My new favourite spot in PGH. We park the car and walk/bike toward the Downtown through the Southside trails. Very low traffic, plenty place to park. Beautiful flowers and trees. Many birds!

We had a beautiful autumn afternoon by the river at hazelwood green. So excited to see adaptive re-use with beautiful native plants and trees in storm water management systems. Connects to city bike and walking paths along the river. Includes outdoor gathering areas and event venue.
Would love to see more of this!

They should develop a community area here it has a great view of the river very nice walk

So much Development potential but it will take years to make an impact
