Hazle Township Community Park reviews
14This place is beautiful. It's located on the little back road behind haze Walmart that cuts through to McDonald's/ turkey hill on 309 or to rt. 93 by Chipotle. But the park is beautiful, it has so much for children and adults alike. A few large jungle gyms, sports fields (soccer, football, baseball), jogging track around the pond where you can also go fishing. There is a full size train engine and a full size army tank for people to view, (fully refurbished).
Park needs to be cleaned up a little bit all in all lots of things to do for the kids. Doesn’t allow pets which makes it tough if you’re a dog walker. That is my biggest gripe
Very nice park however it does not allow dogs which I find quite stupid. The lake is beautiful and has a nice walking path that goes all the way around it. There are a few different places for children to play, some cool things to look at (train car, military tank). A nice park for the family but why the heck are dogs not allowed? !
Rented large pavilion, there was trash everywhere. We had to clean up before we could set up. Disappointed.
Park is great kids have a lot of fun. Lake is beautiful.
They do not allow dogs at park so we had to walk around to get to the pond. If plan on fishing there's a lot of seaweed. Didn't get to see the park cyz having to detour. Will visit again. Seems like a nice clean park.
Nice place to take kids. Events are always fun. They have pavillions you can cook out also electric outlets to reserve for parties or gatherings. I believe you need to reserve to use the power outlets. The park is nice and the lake is nice to fish and walk around.
Fun place to take the kids. Equipment is in tack and the surroundings of nature are very visible. Ample seating and shade. Lake within 100 feet with fish. So fun foe everyone
Nice community park with a playground, picnic tables, and a bathroom. Their sign says “No Dogs” but we kept our dog on a leash and it wasn’t a problem.
People need to start picking up their trash. It's getting out of hand. Maybe once a week get the inmates from the local jail to clean it up and make good again for the kids. Garbage everywhere. Overflowing trash cans. Potholes and rocks cause damage so maybe repaved would set a better appearance
The children had a fabulous time and always want to go there there’s benches and tables for lunch and porter potties just love it
I grew up in Hazleton, and Community Park is one of the last remaining places around that offer enjoyment at no cost. Lots of playground equipment, trails, a lake for fishing, soccer fields right next to it, a baseball field behind it, there's a lot going on here. Always nice to visit.
Didn't leave the parking lot. We just sat in the car to eat our fast food lunch. However, I loved being able to sit in the shade of and enjoy the trees. Even though it's essentially in the middle of town, there's an (almost) out in the country feel. And (key factor) it was clean.
VERY Unpleasant! Poorly maintained, the grass is over grown, the equipment is filthy, honestly looks abandoned.
Large park with lots of opportunity but could use some upkeep and upgrades from the City/Township.
