Head House Books reviews
8 Head House has been my go-to for books in Philly for years. They have an awesome selection in store and arranged in a really fun and intuitive way with staff picks that are actually interesting
If they don’t have what you’re looking for in store they’re great about placing an order for you or their online ordering system is super easy to use! Orders come in fast and pickup from the staff is always lovely
Wonderful to see a local independent bookstore still thriving in the city. Highly recommended! It is wheelchair friendly. To get in a little tight to move around they can fix that.
Amazing small local bookstore with an incredible selection of books and gifts in a charming atmosphere. Customer service is top notch!
Lovely book shop but their pay starts at $15 and they won't consider hiring anyone without a college education. If all applicants must be college educated then they should be paid accordingly. Or consider hiring the commoners of philly ;)
A wonderful independent bookstore that sells the latest novels, craft books, cookbooks, children's books as well as novelty merchandise. Staff was really friendly and offered to order a book I was looking for that was out of stock. Pity I was only visiting Philly or I would have taken them up on the offer.
One of my favorite independent bookstores in the city. They have a great variety of genres and stationary. Highly suggest joining their member program - great deals!
Great independent bookstore, good selection, knowledgeable staff, sweet little location. Good recommendations, also children's books. One more great feature; one may also order books from their website. And if you email a question, a real employee well reply.
Called you up today, asked politely if you carry Salt Fat Acid Heat, immediately you hung up. Called back twice, you ghosted.
What? Y’all havin a bad day over there? Who hurt you?
