Cheap cheap cheap. They don't care about the staff nore the client all they care about is the financial aspect.they expect the manager to budget the little hours that they do give you. Your work like your a regular staff member. Then on top you have to do your administrative work.hire. Fire. No support AT ALL.
The y tell us to stand up for ourselves then say we got your back then get removed because we spoke up. They set you up to fail. I didn't believe it at 1st but all of the 9 years i've been with them I noticed alot my M. I. T left because they wanted her to cover the whole building. With 1 HK and FT they will black ball you and get away with it. They tell you to sign a contract which you don't have time to read. I told them Hcsg can't tell me what to do when I'm not working, I can make money on the side cleaning and doing what I do best. They are 2 faced.

If your putting a loved one in a nursing home, please check with administration to be sure this company isn't contracted for housekeeping and laundry! The food they serve is food I wouldn't even feed to my dog, the complaints go unheard, they hire the employees that no one else wants to hire and for a reason! I wish there was a option to give no stars

Giving no star is too much! They don't deserve any. The worst job I've ever had. The account manager acted more like he wanted to be friends with employees instead of being able to get them to work. For some reason the pm diet aide thiught when you start your day it means play games on the phone, make lunch sit down and eat then after an hour or so start working. He never said a word. He would do their work for them. He didn't know how to be a mediator. But, he did wear pants sooo tight he did the sweaty ball dip walk constantly. Really gross!
I started as a Cook, demoted to dishwasher! I was told some lie. But it was because of my age and I said I was retiring so, they hire another cook give her the hours I wanted and made me a diet aide dishwasher. When I told HR that was a complete waste of time. They lie too! All I can say is it's nice to be gone from there.
Account manager burned the morning cook did not report it. Why? Did he think he was running a perfect kitchen? Because it was a JOKE. The benefits are useless. They don't cover didly squat.

0 stars and I didn't even work there. I got contacted after I applied and they called me right away on the next day but I had a last minute drive to the doctors office when they called. I told them to call today and the girl agreed to the same time and all she did was make me waste my day waiting on the phone call. From the reviews I'm reading, it seems this is a blessing in disguise

If I could give zero stars to this company I would.
You will be underpaid.
You will be required to work within a budget that is outdated, and this includes your wage as well as supplies.
All managers are required to sign a covenant that locks them into the company, wherein if they leave, they have two years they may not work in laundry, housekeeping nor food service ANYWHERE. Many contracts were lost by HSCG this spring. Inadequate managers are rewarded by a complete release from the covenant they signed, free to work wherever they choose. Excellent managers are locked in, no choice but to go where there is work, even if it's now a 2-3 hour drive one way, no mileage reimbursement, no raise. Therefore, excellency is punished. Excellency should be given the choice if there is nowhere nearby to work, wherein they could be released. Inadequacy should be punished by a locked in covenant for the two year period. This is completely backwards.

And they wonder why people quietly quit.

Finally, this company is completely driven by the financial bottom line: what can they make their stockholders. They care not for their employees, nor the companies with with they are contracted. So run. Run away. Run far away. Do not work for this company! There are far better choices out there!

Im a manager for this terrible company, I am being underpaid, Im not even making 18 dollars as a manager and now I see housekeeping jobs paying 20 and better, I was told that I will not have agency workers working anymore and I was allowed to hire people on, that has not happened yet we’re way past February and still have agency workers, Just praying that I can find another job that will pay me what I deserve respectfully and not lie constantly

If you look at the reviews for this company can you see the pattern here. Every review is bad I mean really bad and yet this company continues to operate. I have never worked for a worse company than this in all my years in foodservice.

It is the worst Company I ever work for I gave my Two week notice to manger Roberto Hulburt And I still haven’t gotten my pay check and I try calling him and messaging him but. He doesn’t answer my calls or messages I feel sorry for his employees he takes advantage of his challenge employees Wausau WI can someone please tell me Who can I call so I could get my pay check since Roberto Hulburt don’t want to answer me HR number Thank you

This is the worst business I have every worked for in my life I have been working through the company for almost 2yrs and for the month of July 2022 I have not been paid correctly I have tried to talk to manager of my shift but corporate as well and still no response well at this point I have Contacted the eeoc as well as a lawyer so I guess we will all see each other in court.

Well I heard over in Stephenville TX from my friend that works in the lone star rehabilitation and wellness center told me that the manager named Kyle Stevens called all of his employees in the the laundry room verbally attacked one of his female employee and chased her down and cornered her while screaming as loud as he can red in the face and slammed doors and got violent and abusive he should be fired all of his employees witnessed it

This company took over housekeeping department at a nursing facility I will not name in 2020. Upon my return to the facility in 2022 I found the overall cleanliness was extremely poor. Myself and my coworkers now have to hustle to get this facility sanitary once again. I would not recommend hiring this company for anything.

The company promises a lot of things to get people to work for them, but never fulfill any of them, although everything isn't about money, they could at least give their workers raises, 7.50 is not enough for all of the things they want done, how can a billion dollar company not pay their people, your staff as well as your managers deserve a raise, working an extra day is not considered a raise yes I can call you HR Department, but they're going to tell me the same thing they have told those before me, Sorry for your experience, but we are working on it
Please do better by your employees, put yourself in their shoes

My name is John Jester I was an account manager in Smyrna Delaware, had a great relationship with two different building administrators. Improved the buildings appearance and service quality. Never had any disciplinary problems. Worked in excess of 14 hr days during the covid lockdown. On two different occasions I worked more than 20 days without a day off to help control the spread of COVID-19. I helped at at least 5 different buildings and had a good relationship with all of the administrators. Due to a medical problem I took some time off when the lockdown ended. My buildings contract was not renewed and I was demoted to floortech and lost approx $6 fromy hourly rate. I was informed that I would get a chance at the first build available. This was not the case anagers that did not have m seniority where given a building within 20 miles of my home and I was offers a building 40 miles away and when I wasn't happy with the arrangement I was told to turn in my resignation by my district managers surepeevisor. I believe HCSG has lost a very dedicated and knowledgeable account manager. In my opinion the director of operations over my district manager was not truthful on a few occasions as he made the statement toe he didn't know I wanted a building just a few days after we had a discussion about that subject. It's a shame that a hardworking dedicated person that put in the time and did almost anything asked of me, is now not employed with hcsg when the company needs good managers and I was proud to be an account manager.

I left a job that I worked for over 5 years as a culinary supervisor to move into their MIT (Manager in Training) position and over the course of the 5 months I worked there I only had roughly 2 hours worth of training that was related to the position I was given. Completely unbalanced work/life (50+ hr per week), one day off a week while managers gave themselves weekends off, unwilling to spend money on product needed for the kitchens so we can follow recipe provided by the company, broken kitchen equipment and lack of proper cleaning supplies made it a challenge to provide the level of professionalism to our clients.
I've worked in a kitchen for over 6+ years and this was by far the worse working experience in my life. I completely regret stepping away from my previous employer to work for this company.

Worked for this company for 4 years and got treated very badly. I made 8.75 the whole 4 years. I also got screwed out of my vacation over and over again. The company makes promises to people and never keeps them. Will never work for this company again.

If you expect to have a real career and one that apriciates your worth and hard work and dedication then you better keep looking bc this company is not it. You will not get healthcare coverage or even be thought about for a raise. They only care about filling the companys bank account and don't care how many good employees that don't stay or end of leaving bc of sorry management. I have more than 15 years experience in this field and gave this company a whole year of hard work and dedication only to be used and looked over for better positions. I was with this company for 6 months b4 they finally told me they didn't have real healthcare coverage and all the bs that they tell you b4 you apply is a joke. Let the the management make up there whole rules that break state laws as well.

Unfortunately very disorganized. Was hired as one thing by one mgr and then brought in at a lower level by another even though I had emails to prove. I was promised a week vacation, never given. Also had email. And wondered why I wouldn't stay.

Absolute worst company ever.never seen anything like it. Underbid accounts which leaves the managers scrambling to provide even low quality services. Treat their staff like trash, quick to terminate long term employees after 22 years that are 1 year from retirement because they are “making changes and need fresh eyes”. Beyond despicable, they lie and cut corners. Horrible company, I simply have not one nice thing to say.

Don't even pay vacation they owed me 2 weeks vacation pay & they act like they don't know you.
