Heart + Paw reviews
18I like the place. They were very Accommodating and kind. An treated My Really well! I do Appreciate that. Good Vibes!
Very professional and very sound checking out your pet, didn’t miss anything with the exam and actually got down on the floor with the pet mad my cat very comfortable and calm. The.best vet I ever had been to. Highly recommended this place for your pet.
Best care you could ask for caring staff and a relaxing environment to make your pet comfortable during their visit.
Love the staff, cleanliness and how great they treat our dog. Malik was above and beyond when taken care of us. He really took the time and answered all our questions and concerns for our beloved pup.
The staff was friendly. Appt was on time. Prices were fair. Would definitely go back again
The service was fast, the staff made me feel comfortable and listened to my concerns. I had an issue with newborn puppies and they helped me out and put all my worries to ease! 10/10
I was a first time patient. I came in 12 minutes late. I was waiting outside for a minute waiting for them to let me in since they lock the doors- so technically 11 minutes late. Apparently if you’re 10 minutes late, they use their discretion to give you a late arrival fee. They pick and choose who gets this fee, as they don’t always charge it. Well they picked me! The doctor also told me she couldn’t do a lab test so essentially I have to do something at home, in other words I’m paying them to do their job. I won’t be coming here again and really hated the inhospitable feeling they gave me. The staff were laughing and joking about me behind closed doors but I could tell. They kept making comments about wanting to go home and hating it there, very unprofessional. There are so many better options in Philly, your pet deserves better.
They do a great job getting my dog in and out. He has a tendency of being anxious and all of the people working here make him feel at ease.
Heart + Paw Callowhill is awesome! The staff there is always so responsive and helpful. My cat has some chronic health issues and I never have trouble getting appointments quickly scheduled. Thank you all!
Very caring people to work with. Def gave my baby a good experience! They also followed up after the appointment to make sure everything was as expected.
Cannot recommend them enough! We’ve brought our kitten and older cat here and each visit has been a phenomenal experience. Each and every team member is helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. Dr. Romanzi & her team have been incredible with helping us navigate our cat’s health issues and they have treated both me and my fur babies with so much compassion and respect! They truly care and go above and beyond. So happy to have found a great place to bring our kitties and to know they are in the best hands!
Compassionate vets and staff. Nice office. I’m glad I brought my cat here for his constipation issue that took a few days to resolve
My dog and I were seen over an hour after the appointment time. It was a Friday and I wasn’t given any lAb results until the following Wednesday even with repeated attempts to reach them. This is unacceptable for a practice that advertises itself as urgent care
Amazing care for my dog, and they’re very transparent about pricing and different options!
THEY MISDIAGNOSED MY PET.
Dr. Nicole Romanzi at Heart and Paw diagnosed my pet with bladder stones and told me she required surgery to remove them. The visit cost me over $500 to do all the tests they said they needed to do. They proceeded to tell me that they will not be able to schedule the surgery for another 2 weeks, lengthening the time my pet would be in extreme discomfort. After a second and third opinion at different vet offices (who both told me that I could get the surgery done the next day since bladder stones are an urgent matter), I confirmed that Dr. Romanzi at Heart and Paw misdiagnosed my pet and that the “bladder stones” they observed in the ultrasound was in fact her colon. So not only did Heart and Paw charge me >$500 for an incorrect diagnosis, they were about to charge me for a $1-4k an invasive procedure she didn’t even need. They were prepared to put my pet through extreme pain and stress for no reason.
Aside from inappropriate diagnoses, the office was not open at the indicated opening time. I had an appointment for 8AM, waited outside, and at around 8: 15AM, a staff member came shuffling in, seemingly in no rush or urgency, and told us to wait outside until they were ready.
Absolutely love Heart and Paw. They really make you feel a part of the family. Pricing can be a bit high, but it’s completely worth it for the way the treat your pets like their own.
This is truly the best grooming my dog Beni has had in years. Jo was great. She listened, understood what I wanted, and Beni came out looking like he was a show dog. Great place. Highly recommended.
