We dined here this evening at the recommendation of friends and it was truly a pleasure. The menu was small so every item was prepared perfectly. It does remind one of Europe where you are not rushed in any way and it was a perfect combination of great food, friends, service, and ambience. Thank you Henry’s Cafe for a wonderful evening.

The food is made to order so bring your bottle of wine and sit back and relax.
The servers are very friendly and extremely helpful.

Grab your favorite bottle of wine or 2 and sit back and relax for a nice dinner experience. I say experience because you aren’t in and out in an hour. They give you time and space and everything is made to order. We’ve been there 3 times in the past 4 months and it’s 100% worth every dime. The food is excellent- speciality is fish and we are fish lovers. The mussels as an appetizer is fabulous. It’s a must go and dine! Enjoy.

Our anniversary dinner was
Everything was delicious. The mussels were fabulous, and I took a chance on them as I do not normally like them. Just the perfect amount of heat with chilies and the bacon made them a standout dish.

Everything was delicious.

Five of us went for dinner at Henry's and had a wonderful evening and fantastic food. It is a genuine fine-dining experience in Pottstown, with warm service and a diverse and intriguing menu. Many of the items have a clear European influence, if not obvious heritage, while others may include an Asian or Cajun spin on a classic dish. Among the dishes we enjoyed were escargot, pierogis, cabbage rolls, cod, black bass, and spicy mussels. All were outstanding!
Everything is prepared fresh, so think slow-food goodness. Forget about rushing through dinner, and enjoy your meal and your company.
A special 'thank you' to Frank for kindly allowing the culinary student who was among us to step into the kitchen and watch the master at work!

Was sadly disappointed. Have heard such positive things. We were sat beside a table of loud drunkards and could not have a conversation. My chicken livers were burnt. A balsamic vinegar sauce was a repeated theme in ever dish. My pasta dish was of the same quality as if it came from the Olive Garden. Was just hoping for better. Maybe next time will be a dining experience.

Where can you go to a "restaurant " and have a VIP dinner and have your own personal chef? This guys food is off the chain amazing. I know it sounds so cliche, but really, it is just simply amazing. Hands down, the best restaurant I have ever been to. Guy Fieri would be jealous!

Totally amazing. Every positive word in the dictionary deserves a spot in describing Henry's. The food is cooked with love and patience. It's a thoughtfully curated menu. The wait staff treats you like old friends. And the flavors are nothing less than exquisite! Stack it against the finest and best in Philly and you'll knock them all down a few pegs. Keep doing what you're doing Henry's!

Definitely on of the best places to eat in Pottstown. Very large portions of excellent food. Henry’s Cafe has been a staple in Pottstown for many years and never disappoints. Obviously this place is here to stay and owners care about the town.

This place is the place. The one restuarant that offers high quality food. Super friendly service. Made to order dishes. The most delightful chef in the area. You can tell this place wants you to experience food. It's not a place to be rushed, it's a place to be enjoyed. Hats off to such an achieved and delicious restuarant.

Ok. I'm reluctant to review because frankly, I don't want everyone to know how great this place is. First off, there is one chef and one waitress. Here's the phenomenon about that. If you show up once, Debbie, the hostess, no, purveyor and face of this place will remember you. Who does that? Yeah, Debbie. She's passionate about what she does. She's welcoming you into Her dining room like an old friend. This is a place to enjoy the best food, lovingly and passionately prepared by Frank, who has this innate sense of Sweet and Savory and everything comfort. Plan to spend a couple hours here, BYOB, and relax. Isn't that why we go out to a fine restaurant, to relax, have amazing and artistic food, and enjoy friends and family? Forget everything I said. I want a table.

Amazing experience! My husband and I love a good chef's tasting menu, so when I found out about Henry's Cafe I knew we had to go. It seemed that fate smiled upon us as I saw that they offered Feast of 7 Fishes. Did not disappoint! The food was amazing, impeccably prepared and plated. The wine pairings were spot on (normally byob) and it was an unforgettable experience that we can't wait to repeat!
