Herby's El Mexicano Restaurant, Harrisburg PA

Love this place, it's one of my favorite resturants. Very good food, very kind and helpful staff - just overall lovely place to eat.

The food is tasty but the presentation lacks sizzle! None of the dishes were served on a sizzling platter, and the appetizers were bland. The cheese sauce was like water.chips crunchy but lacked flavor.

Terrible service, the waitress seem to be in a bad mood, when she brought the waters she slammed on the table. The food was plain, but it had an ok salsa.

I went here with a group of coworkers. The staff and atmosphere is very nice. We accidentally stayed past the closing time, but they were very gracious about it. The food was good but at a price that doesn't quite match the quality. The food was just as good as El Rodeo but at higher prices (no insult intended, I like El Rodeo). Overall, it's a good restaurant.

Small family establishment. One of the top Mexican restaurants in the area. My wife lived in the San Diego area and is particular about her Mexican food, and she is a big fan also.

Food was good but not great pretty sure it was reheated but probably has something to do with the time of day I went service was good will return

Real and authentic Mexican food you can't get anywhere else in the area. Birria is my favorite thing on the menu.

Staff is wonderful, Margaritas are great, only negative is the food is highly overrated and expensive. Save your money and go to Taco Bell

Been there few times over the years, think Herby's has been in business maybe close to 30 yrs, today's experience was great as the times before, place is clean and welcoming, Rosa took great care of us, food was delish, good portions, very close to a 10/10

Drove far to go here because of good reviews online stating it was authentic Mexican food. It seems they are on a limited pandemic menu. Only serving basic things like tacos, burritos, and fajitas which was disappointing as we had looked at the menu ahead of time and were looking forward to it. Perhaps this was just an odd time to visit due to the pandemic or we hit an off day but the food was nothing special.

Fantastic! Nachos for 2 & fajitas were amazing and more than enough for us! This ain't fast food so don't expect your meal in 5 minutes. Enjoy!

The best Mexican food and margaritas I've had since living in Colorado! The staff are equally authentic and outstanding! A fun and memorable experience, salud!

Enjoyed the food, atmosphere and employees. Owner was attentive and friendly. Enjoyed the live music by Dante Sobrevilla. Great experience overall. Would go again.

A favorite of ours for years. Nice people, fast service and fresh, good food. Prices are reasonable. Try The Burrito Santa Fe!
