Hertz, Mechanicsburg PA

Always fast, always helpful, always good cars. Just not happy that I can no longer leave my car at this location overnight. I take frequent 1-2 night trips and leaving the car in their lot made Hertz more attractive than other agencies.

Made a reservation went to pick up the vehicle and was told "i have no car you, you just made the reservation I have people that made a reservation in advance, those reservations are being handled now.tomorrow i should have a car" Really. Don't waste ur time

When told to return by noon on 12/24/22, the office was closed. When trying to reach someone by phone, hold time was extensive. Notice on paperwork that if vehicle returned visit express option, may be charged overnight fees. There is a camera on site that if working will time stamp vehicle at return location before due.

I had an excellent experience renting from Hertz but I especially want to thank Preston for his great service. Whenever I need a rental car in the Harrisburg area again I will absolutely return to this location thanks to him!

Best location! Amazing customer service. They went out of the way to accommodate me and my friends! Will definitely book from this location again!

Clean cars are not a priority. Cars go out as soon as they come back. They're priority is only the gas meter.

The man behind the counter is complete piece of you know what. Extremely rude. Do not recommend but not as bad as Enterprise.

I do not recommend this place, very unprofessional and corrupt. They will find any excuse to charge you extra day or take some extra money from you. If you renting from them I highly recommend take a lawyer with you and review everything with them otherwise they will get you.

If I could give this location 0 stars - I WOULD! I had a reservation for 4: 30pm on a Wednesday. BOTH Google and the Hertz website said this location was open until 9: 00 on Wednesdays. The ONLY day of the week it was open past 4: 00pm. So, I show up at 4: 15.and the door is locked, no one is answering the phone, and the sign on the door says hours for Monday-Friday are 10: 00am-4: 00pm. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Then I knock on the door because I’m thinking there’s gotta be some mistake. There’s no way that I have a reservation for this location and they actually close before my reservation even starts. A young lady comes to the door and tells me “we’re closed”. My husband says “ We have a 4: 30 reservation” to which the young lady replied “yeah, idk why they do that. Sorry. ” and WALKS AWAY! I have already made a complaint with Hertz after sitting on hold for over an hour, and I WILL be calling when this location is “open” again to speak with the manager. This is absolute BULL! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, MONEY, OR EFFORT ON THIS LOCATION! GO SOMEWHERE (ANYWHERE) ELSE!

Car was given to me with food and fast food wrappers on the floor and seats. Though they had signs and instructions that said No Smoking, the car reeked of smoke. Manager stated that there were no other cars available. Said I had to take that one. I declined and called an Uber to take me elsewhere. This is the worst place ever!
