Hi Pot - Bethlehem reviews
16I gave them one star because I couldn’t give them no stars when you pay for your food they make you give them a tip for shifty service they add the tip on your credit card without your knowledge they should be investigated for fraud
Great place and the food is really good, if you're looking for a authentic Taiwanese this is a perfect place.
Love this place and have for years now.
Amazing service, fabulous food and good prices! Would go here anyday with my girls. They are great with people with allergies and overall kind.
Good for large groups.
We’re looking for dinner options in Betlehem after a ski trip to the Blue Mountain and came across this Taiwanese style individual hot pot. So pleasantly surprised to find this delicious treat in Betlehem. It tasted just like the ones I had in California! I got the Taiwanese spicy hot pot, very spicy level. I love spicy food and found the heat to be perfect to enjoy the soup. Not overly spicy. Portion was generous, I ended up bringing some home because I was so full. Service was fast, friendly, and attentive.
Post-industrial decor. We had the seafood bowl it was delicious and a very large portion. A little pricey.
The staff are so nice and the food is amazing! The portions are pretty big, so you could probably split one hotpot dish between two people, especially if you also get appetizers. I don’t eat meat, and they had great vegetarian options.
Food was HORRIBLE beef is like mystery meat the meat in ramen looked old and nasty never again
Pretty good place to eat. I have been here a few times now. I mainly get ramen when I go here, but it is always flavorful! Nice big place and the service is good.
Great tasting food with generous portions.
Staff was on the ball with timely service. A+
The food and milk tea was great (I had the spicy ramen) and service was friendly but it felt rushed. The check was at my table before I was even close to done eating and it was fairly quiet when I visited so it felt a little odd to me.
The ramen is tasty and the staff is so nice! Menu has a couple options for vegetarians, but I'd love to see more.
100% recommend this place! Definitely something different, so if you’re into trying new things you would definitely love this place. Big portions for sure and lots of seafood, you’ll definitely agree it is worth your money.
We couldn't drive to Philly to get the birria tacos I wanted so badly because the place was closed (Monday). I am so glad that happened because I got to try Hi Pot! I ordered the Spicy Stinky Tofu Hot Pot and it was fantastic. I ordered the spiciest level but it wasn't that for me, so I added plenty of chili oil to bring that up. The broth is ridiculously flavorful, and the hot pot is crammed full with delicious and stinky things, stinky tofu being just one. My table mates all had ramen and loved their ramen. We shared the fried chicken, cumin lamb, and spring rolls: all were delicious. I will definitely be making this a regular stop when I am visiting family in Bethlehem.
Food was delicious! The service was incredibly fast and they were so kind. Cannot wait to go back.
Not authentic Ramen.
Not bashing this place since it sounds like people really enjoy their food here but definitely disappointed and caught off guard. If you're sensitive to oily food, heavy meat smells/tastes or heavy Chinese flavors you may not like the food here. My husband who was less sensitive did agree that it was a Chinese style ramen and not the best ramen he had but gave it a 3 out of 5.
I have an egg allergy and asked for no egg in my Ramen and they did not let me substitute it for anything else. The waitress responded with a firm "no" which was surprising. I would have been happy with extra green onions or something. I really don't think what I was asking for was difficult.
I thought about getting the hot pot but you can't choose what toppings you want in it. Also they only have soy sauce, chili oil, and sweet chili for hot pot sauces. There is no sauce station like typical hot pot joints.
