Places a little run down but looks a deceiving very clean service is very well in the food was amazing and everything was served in the pan this is actually my second time going there I highly recommend this place if you are in the area for breakfast.

Great country diner. Big portions, friendly staff. Cash only when we went. Food came out on a skillet which was different in a nice way.

Delicious food, great service. You get a lot of value for your money, too.

Everything I've tried here is tasty, but their breakfast foods keep me coming back. The sausage links are especially good, so is the smoked sausage. I also enjoyed their biscuits - they were buttery and tasted homemade in the best possible way.

If you get home fries, try them with onions and peppers cooked in.

Robert and Roseanne, the owners, were warm and welcoming! Gave my son and I great ideas of places to visit. The atmosphere is so cozy, the the staff is friendly, and the food is homemade! Love this place. We will definitely visit again on our next trip.

I got the meat sampler with a side of hash. I would highly recommend the sausage and Kielbasa. The rest was either ok or I not worth eating. For the hash, I would recommend this as well. If you go in a large party, order the hash and share. For the listed meats above, don’t share:)

I would go back and try something else, just remember to bring cash.

Ehhhh.it’s a diner. I passed this place for 20 years when vacationing and never went in cause it looked kind of “run down and risky” but I was driving alone and wanted to try the “ham and eggs on a pan” that they are famous for. It was a more expensive diner cause you paid for the “country theme”. I got eggs, bacon, toast, and coffee and the bill was 18-19 plus 5 dollar tip.

I could be wrong but if I had to guess, I would say they make the food on the grill normally, then place it on the pan that is gently heated to make it look like it was made on a pan. But if you look at all the pictures, the food is too perfect. If it was ACTUALLY made on the pan it would be messier and the pan would be hotter.

The advertising got me to stop in but it’s not a place I would be running to go to again.

First visit was really great, from the customer service provided to me and my wife which in very important to me, to the break sampler I had. I don’t usually enjoy ham but it was great as well. I wil definitely be visit again.

Fun for weekend breakfast with family or friends. Good food served promptly. A little rough looking on the outside, but nostalgic inside. Hours off-season are a little odd.

A great stop for breakfast when you are in the Pocono area. Ordered breakfast which included their fresh meats and eggs which of course were served in a pan. Cash only but prices are reasonable.

I've been coming here for the past 5 years. Today was horrible and I will never return here. I ordered 1 Piggy with wheat toast and eggs over easy. The eggs were fried so hard there was no yolk. The toast was so hard, and I am not exaggerated, it hurt my back teeth. I couldn't eat past that one piece. There were more peppers than anything else on my skillet. The only thing good was the French toast, but not enough for me to return. My sister had the same complaints with her toast as well. Now I still wanted to pay for my meal as it would be wrong not too since I did eat the French toast. What I have a problem with was the automatic 18% gratuity at a cash only establishment where the food was not good and the service was okay. I am very disappointed.

I visited Hickory Valley Farm on my way back to NYC from the Poconos. It is about a five minute drive from Tanger Outlets. It was hands down the best diner I have ever been too. I loved the decor, service, and it's super cute that all meals are served in a frying pan. The decor was a bit over done the pig ornaments were strange lol. Nevertheless the food was fresh, tasty and most of all the corn beef hash is homemade! Don't forget to stop at an ATM because it is cash only.

This place was SO amazing! The food was so delicious and the staff was so friendly. This is one of the best breakfast meals I’ve ever had. It is such a great place to go and highly recommend it to anyone!

We are visiting the area and wanted a good homemade breakfast. We found Hickory Valley Farm Rest! Corn beef Hash is my favorite and theirs brought my love for it up to the highest level! They make it by scratch. My husband got the chipped beef! It was perfect! Also, our server Mabel was friendly and funny! She was ‘right-on’ getting everything we needed for our meal. And we had a nice conversation too!

The most adorable place ever! Upon arrival, my daughter and I fell in LOVE with the "scenery. " Beautiful little pigs everywhere.not real ones, but dolls, statues etc, strategically and abundantly laid out throughout the restaurant. The essence of a country feel was achieved through several of these awesome effects, including our delicious breakfasts served in skillets. Great place! I absolutely would go back every chance we get when we're in the Poconos area. Thank you!

I don't think I've ever had a nicer waitress anywhere; everything was clean and fresh. The biscuits and gravy was outstanding, and I can honestly say best chipped beef I've ever tasted.

Great food and service! The smoked kielbasa in the smokehouse sampler was especially delicious. Mabel was an amazing server. Very friendly and efficient too.

As old school as it gets. Our server gave us a great recommendation on a plate that had a little taste of everything. Delicious! Unlimited coffee and not watered down like so many other places. Home cooking at its finest!
