If you like fresh meat, great cuts of steak and delicious sausage, then you found the right place here. Just make sure you bring cash, they don't take plastic. But you'll feel like you died and went to heaven as you walk around and look at the selections they offer and good only knows they sell the best hot dogs I've ever when in my life, Hippy hot dogs, and the best bacon too. If day you would probably need $100 for your first trip here, if not, $200. And you'll never regret a penny spent here.

Many years ago I stopped buying beef at any grocery chain due to a lack of flavor. I only use local butchers. Well I just found my new favorite. Picked up a couple a porter houses, The quality and flavor of the meat was just outstanding. Picked up a small roast a few weeks back It was of similar quality. I'll be back!

I used Hillside for a large party of over 100 people for catering. I spoke with them about options a few months prior and they were helpful in assisting me in ordering the correct amount of food. We finalized a great menu about 3 weeks ahead of the party and everything was made for an on-time pickup. We ordered brisket, sausage and peppers, mac and cheese, hot veggies, several cold salad trays, fruit tray and several party hoagies. Every guest filled their plates and some had seconds. We got so may comments about how tasty the food was and asking us who catered! It was all super high quality, presented professionally, and tasted amazing. There is a homemade feeling to the food, nothing tastes store bought or processed and looks restaurant worthy! You can easily see the effort and skill that goes into their catering. I am also a long time customer of their store and have always been satisfied with what we buy there. I HIGHLY recommend them.

Breakfast sausage was very tasty. Stuffed pork chop was delicious. We tried the homemade bologna and that was very good. Had some smoked Muenster and smoked horseradish cheese so far and they didn't disappoint. Definitely going back to try more of their meat's out.
