The food was good and I would've given 4 stars but the place itself is horrible and in need of a complete renovation. I didn't feel comfortable eating there. The seats were torn up and stained. The owner should be ashamed. There's nothing like having good food in a nice space.

10/10 what more can I say. Perfect location and ELITE milkshakes. And I hear now they have potato fries?

This is what $12 gets you. It doesn’t come with fries or a side, just a mushroom that’s fills about 1/3 if the sandwich.

Hipcity veg has the best vegan food. The food is amazing. I just moved to Delaware and am sad that there are none here. Please open a location in Wilmington.

Where do I begin? The burger was the size of a kids meal from McDonalds…the fries are overpriced (5.00) per and also tasted like old cold fries from McDonalds.for 40 we expected more…simply put, never again

The food is great. Shakes are great. I like the variety of options. The atmosphere could stand to be updated.

This place has a vegan menu. I ordered the vegan cheesesteak and it was very delicious. The staff members here were very polite and very friendly. One of the female staff members even advised me that because of my diet, I can get the vegan cheesesteak on a bed of lettuce instead of on bread. Great job

The staff is always helpful and friendly, and the food is delicious. I often get the Ziggy burger.

I am not a vegetarian or vegan.

But their cheese steaks are making me a convert. It's really really good as a meat eater. If you're on the fence or starting to reconsider changing your diet, this is the go-to for foods that are interchangeable with their meat counterparts.

Their chicken definitely is more veggie-feels. If you dumped their chicken into a pile with meaty chicken nuggets, you probably won't be able to tell the difference. But you definitely can when comparing them to something like buffalo wings.

You guys gave a VEGAN cheese. I hope that upsets you as much as that upset me. Being that this is a vegan/vegetarian place I would THINK that you guys would take a no cheese order seriously. Made an order through door dash my order was 2 smokehouse burgers one without cheese. The one without cheese was mine being rhat I'm vegan not vegetarian. Also order two sweet potato fries with two hip city sauces (we never got the sauce) ordered a cola (didn't recieve that either) and a chocolate shake (that arrived!). I got my order looking for a no cheese label and there wasn't any. I though m maybe they forgot. Checked and both burger had cheese. You gave a Vegan cheese! Are you kidding me! Anyways I contacted door dash and they will be investigating but I truly hope this doesn't happen to another vegan again thats not ok. You do not give a vegan cheese it's so disrespectful. Also you forgot the sauces and cola but I'm more upset that you gave me cheese. So much money was spent here I paid for disappointment

I did not expect the seasonal apple caramel milkshake to be as good as it was considering it was vegan. Better than any non-vegan milkshake I have had. The service wasn’t as great though.

$28 for an Arugula taco Salad, sweet potato fries and a large milkshake and someone thinks it’s a good idea to make the Milkshakes cups smaller?

The food was pretty good. The people were professional. Only thing is they should repair and restore the seating. As well as have a fresh paint job. This place deserves to look cleaner.

Food is much better than expected given they don’t use any meat products. If you’re looking to try a vegetarian burger this is the place to try it from

I asked for just ranch no bleu cheese on the new buffalo sandwich and they put bleu cheese on it. Didn’t realize til I got in the car and checked my order. Due to the restaurant closing right after I order I was not able to enjoy my food. It would be nice if management would rectify this matter so I can give a true review.

I went back recently and explained to the manager my experience. Not only was he super apologetic regarding the matter. He gave me the opportunity to try it the right way for free.

Best dang Chik'n Sammich I've had. The seasoned batter, texture, and peppercorn ranch made this one of the best savory vegan sandwiches I've had in the past decade. I hope I can make it back during this trip for another!

I ordered the Buffalo Chick’n Salad and it was Horrible! The lettuce was soggy wet (literally dripping) and the chick’n was mushy & wet! After the first taste, I threw it in the trash! I would have returned it had I had transportation (it was delivered by GrubHub). This is my second time ordering from here and being dissatisfied - it will be my Last! Good-Bye Hip City Veg!

The food is really good but the restaurant is filthy. The tables are sticky and the bathroom is run down. Corporate really needs to revamp this location

Food was great, the drinks were perfect not to sweet. The decor needed help, the seats are very uncomfortable, and the ones with backs were rocky and the material is torn.
