The best veggie cheesesteak I've had. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone, especially vegetarians visiting Philly who don't want to miss out on the cheesesteak culinary experience while you're here.

Would love to see more locations closer to where I live, but it's worth the travel regardless.

This place gives "vegan" a bad name. The food is sub-standard. When you get the mushroom burger the mushrooms are deep-fried. The French fries tasted like they were made 5 hours ago. They give you a thimble full of "organic ketchup". The price was a ripoff. The worker messed up our order- placing the wrong items on each of our trays. And the thing about "hand-spun" milk shakes? You do these tricks when your food is substandard. No wonder the location in Radnor closed. I will never go back to this chain again.

Cold fries,
I was the only one there at the time, I actually thought they were closed. I just figured I get fresh fries, if I knew they were going to be cold I would have not tipped. Oh well, I won't go back

This is such a great place for us to eat. We are vegan and this is our go-to when we're in the area. Their milk shakes are the best! Their hipcityveg sauce is so good! You won't be disappointed!

So the food was good but the service was really bad. The person who took my order had a horrible attitude and you could tell they didn't wanna be there with rolling their eyes at every customer them came to place an order. This was my first time here and I'd be willing to try again but if the service is going to be the same the next time I think that will be it for me. 3 stars for now

Went there to order fries and a drink. Everything was great BUT the employees are NOT professional. I order and the girl seemed like my presence was bothering her. After i was done ordering she pushes the pay screen before walking away. I mean what if i wanted my receipt or had a question or something? I just feel like the energy she was giving wasnt very customer friendly. The employees need better training.anyways.my fries and drink were good 10/10.

Disgusting soggy fries hamburger smothered in cheese never again am I spending 20 bucks on a burger and fries!

I’ve been going to their stores since they first opened. At first they were okay however recently their menu has been changed and is the worst I’ve ever seen for a “healthy meal restaurant”. Recently I ordered the Philly cheesesteak and the Southern fried maitake salad. The Philly cheesesteak was half the size from before and was mainly just the bread with no contents. Furthermore they included the mustard and ketchup sauce as standard ingredients. You should always ask your customers if they want condiments before you add them in their sandwich… About the Southern fried maitake salad. It was the worst salad I’ve had so far. It was super greasy and that poor little mushroom it looked like I was eating kentucky fried chicken. Definitely not a healthy choice for a vegan meal… the floors at the store can use some upgrade. I don’t think staring at the black concrete floor will help much to increase your appetite! The upkeep of the restaurant is very poor.

Everything I got at Hip City Veg used to be fantastic—no more. Today, I ordered the Basic Burger with no sauce—it came overcooked with sauce—and the sweet potato fries were overcooked, close to burnt. Plus, the new menu eliminated the Caesar salad with tempeh. Very disappointed.

Spicy Chicken sandwich is a wonderful take on a Wendy’s #6. Wildly incredible - can’t believe fake chicken could taste this good.

I wish there was a HipCityVeg where I lived! I always try to get lunch here when I visit family in the area. The food is *so* good! They even have gluten free options!

TRY PLANT BURGER for BETTER TASTE and TEMPERATURE of food.
Never heard of the place until i got some coupons in mail. When i got to the store with cash in hand, i ordered, then was told they only accept cards or apple pay. No cash accepted.
No one knew how to insert the coupons so of course, the line gets held up.
When i got my order it wasn't what i ordered. It took too long to get it corrected. My food ended up luke-warm by the time I could eat it. And the burgers were bland and lacked any flavor beyond the onion, pickles and boujee mayo/bbq sauce on them. Disappointing.

I love HipCity. I’ve been going to their original location for years when they first opened in Philly. I went today to their Ardmore location and paid $32 for two burgers and two fries. They do not accept cash anymore. On top of that, there was a mouse staring at us the entire time we were there.

This is by far my favorite location! My first experience here was so easy. Crystal was so friendly and helpful with her recommendations. My meal was fresh, hot, and it was mind-blowing good! You won't even know it's vegan!

Buffalo it. & get a shake. This location is really nice, lots of cool surrounding shops.

The service here is literally so awful. The employees are the worst. This is the 3rd time I’ve drove 40 minutes because this is the closest location to me for them to be so rude and close early. Do not go off the hours listed online or on their door because they do not actually hold to them. I tried to keep giving them chances. But when you head across the street to Kilwins the staff is a breath of fresh air and so friendly. It’s like night and day with the service. Extremely disappointed.

Delicious Food; particularly the "Philly". They have regular Fries now too and the staff were incredibly kind along with the store being clean and comfy. The Best Plant Based food I've tried yet! Highly Recommend!

We ordered veggie burgers and sweet potatoe fries to go. This was the best tasting veggie burger in 2022 and certainly pleased my palate for the evening. Hope a 9th restaurant opens up in Philly that provides wonderful and a bit more ambiance for in-restaurant dining.
