Historic Bethlehem Welcome Center reviews
13 My wife and I had a wonderful time on the tour. We enjoyed learning about Bethlehem. Mark, our tour guide was 10 stars! He was passionate of Bethlehem and very knowledgeable of their history. Paula, our tour driver did an awesome job driving us through the busy streets and keeping us safe. A BIG round of applause to them both for a memorable experience we are sure to never forget.
Thank you,
Barry and Tracey Spicer

Walking tour was very enjoyable. Our guide was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Would definitely do this tour again!
Bethlehem is just magical this time of year so it’s hard to be critical as we had a wonderful experience. We did the night tour and the horse drawn carriage and we are glad that we did both. The night tour was conducted in a super comfortable large bus. The guide was a great story teller and well informed, however it was hard to see the sites being described outside because it was so dark. The horse ride gave us the opportunity to view those sites closer, afterwards but we didn’t go to all the same places unfortunately so we felt that we had missed out a bit. Perhaps starting the tour just before dark to show the historical sites and then finishing with a lights tour would have been a lot better. Overall all of it completely worth it. Loved it
We took the death and dying cemetery tour in Moravian cemetery and it was great. We started in one of the oldest standing structures in Bethlehem and then continued outside and up to the cemetery. The tour described the way of life for the Moravian people in Bethlehem and some of their death and burial practices. My favorite parts were hearing about the corpse house and getting to see the death tray.
My husband and I love going on the tours. The tour guide is amazing, knowledgeable and funny too. You learn so much that the 90 minutes just flies by. Highly recommend!
I visited this website in order to reserve a horse drawn carriage for this holiday season. As much as I hate dealing with things online, I found this process to be easy And quickly finished The reservation.
Lots to do when you look around. Pleasant to walk around at night. Stunning houses nearby. The Spirit of Christmas is alive and well.
Lots to see and do. Shopping, sight seeing and trails to walk.
The candy at Chocolate Lab is amazing. Highly recommend Corked bar and restaurant on main street for food and drinks.
The Christmas City Stroll was well conceived. The guide was knowledgeable and warm. The walk is moderate with some inclines but decently lit even on the down stairs sections. Don't expect to go inside it is an outdoor stroll. Well worth the price.
Very disappointed in Historic Bethlehem. First, I tried to resolve this by contacting them directly and did not receive a reply. Here is the issue: My family went on a "Rise and Fall of Bethlehem Steel" tour. The Historic Bethlehem website states that the tour is one hour. When the tour began we spent approximately the first 45 minutes listening to the tour guide talk and looking at pictures while sitting on a bench across the street. Then we ascended the stairs for the Hoover Mason Trestle. When we arrived at the top I asked if the tour would be over in 15 minutes (thinking that what we had experienced was not what was described on the website) because my party had another commitment and we needed to leave at 2: 00 (again the tour was supposed to be one hour). The tour guide said the tour will go at least an hour and a half and maybe longer! As a result we had to leave at 2: 00 and missed most of the tour, what we were most interested in, the walking part where we could see actual items, not just pictures. The info.given during the first 45 minutes was interesting, but not a walking tour. We are very disappointed that we missed probably the most interesting part of the tour and what we actually thought the tour would be. It's great that the tour guide had so much info.to give but the website needs to indicate the actual length of the tour. When asked for a refund or credit for a future tour, so I could allocate more time, no response from either Historic Bethlehem or Arts Quest (the ticketing agency).
Historic Bethlehem is an area not to be missed, especially during the Fall and Winter holidays. The beautiful historic buildings and folks in period dress make for a beautiful place to stroll. The numerous artisan stands and decorations add to this wonderful experience.
Place. Helpful people helped me find a souvenir to take back to Oregon with me so I'm very happy with that thank you to the gentleman that was working there.
