Historic Dimmick Inn, Milford PA

Really nice little place. Sat outdoors so can't speak on the inside but we enjoyed it. They mixed up 3/4 of the sides we ordered but it happens and they fixed it right away. I'd definitely stop by if passing through Milford.

Considering this is a somewhat expensive “steakhouse”, I assumed they would have good steaks. I was upset to find out that’s not the case. The selection was very limited. In fact, I believe a NY Strip was the only steak option. Maybe there was a sirloin. There wasn’t even a ribeye. Not sure how this makes this place a steakhouse. But the really upsetting part was that the steak wasn’t even good. I ordered it medium rare, yet the steak came out tough and very bland. The compound butter was off putting as well. I just scraped it off. If I ever went back, I definitely wouldn’t get the steak. On the positive side, the French onion Mac and cheese was very good.

Good food and good drinks
Celebrated my brother's 50th bday at the Dimmick and it was fabulous. Delicious food and drinks. It was the perfect spot with the deck upstairs and swings for the kids. Everyone had a blast. Thank you

My fiancé, myself, and our pups had a wonderful experience here! The food was great (highly recommend the meatball starter), as were the drinks. They even let us order some unseasoned chicken for our dogs! The staff was so friendly, and it was a beautiful location. Highly recommend!

We stopped in Milford, PA.while on a road trip. The gorgeous wraparound porch with outside dining drew us in.
We sat inside, in the AC and the service, food, and atmosphere were AWESOME.
We enjoyed calamari as an appetizer and we each loved our salads!

Enjoyed a very good French Dip sandwich on the porch. Good choice of beer on tap and the service was good. I think everything was a little overpriced. I would definitly go back there are few good restaurants in the area.

Went there with a party of 5 and hade an amazing lunch. There Onion soup is so creamy and there Burgers are great. Great service and we got to eat on the outside porch.

Our server Virginia was so friendly and attentive! Food was delicious and this was such a cute place. They graciously took us as a walk in for outside. If your looking for a cute historic looking place to eat you found the right place. I appreciated that the menu had vegetarian options as well.

If there was zero stars, that would be my rating. Had been here previously with my dog for dinner, not to mention numerous times without the pup, in the last eight years. They advertise "dog friendly". Was just told, first, there would be a 45 minute wait because the outdoor dog area was full (no dogs, just people). Then, while we pondered if we wanted to wait, another dog walked by, which my dog barked at. He then advised us he couldn't seat is because our dog was barking at another dog. I WILL NOT RETURN.

All was good until our server asked if we would move to a different table while we were in the middle of having our meal.excuse me I asked to speak with the manager immediately.
The owner came out and apologized and asked what he could do to ensure that we stayed. At this time, we just wanted our food packed up. He presented us with a gift card and apologized one again. Normally, I would not frequent this establishment again but because of the owners understanding and good customer service, I will give the restaurant another chance.
Hopefully it was a one time hiccup.

The staff was friendly and very understanding of how to handle my nephews who are 9 and 2. The food was great as was the beer the wait staff recommended.

Acoustics make it loud inside. Just passing through the area and stopped in for a bite.so maybe the noisy atmosphere isn't typical.

Ate here for the first time yesterday. We opted for seating on the wrap-around porch, which was extremely pleasant with the fans above.
Staff was extremely friendly and professional and the atmosphere both in and outside made you feel at home.

The food was extremely good and arrived quickly. Try the French onion mac and cheese! The burgers are well prepared and juicy. There was an abundance of grilled chicken in the Caesar Salad. Everyone enjoyed their meal and commented about returning in the future.

The desserts were fresh and just the right size.

I highly recommend a stop here. I know I will be back.

Good food, good drinks, 1 free toy per child, per table (if you have young kids and want them occupied/entertained) and Alexis/Alexa (I forgot which is your name, I'm sorry) was a very friendly Waitress!

Mixed drinks were terrible. It's a beer and shot place exclusively. The meals were far overpriced for what they were. I had a $16 tasteless burger. Meals come with a 4% vig if you are paying by cc.

Atmosphere on the veranda was noisy with traffic but functional. Service was very good. 2/5 It's a pass.
