This place will forever hold a special place in our hearts, we stayed in the crimson suite - equip with a jacuzzi tub, fireplace, and swanky atmosphere overall. Rebecca was a lovely host; served us a DELICIOUS breakfast on Botanic Garden dishes, which gave us even more to be excited about! We are forever grateful for this awesome place - thank you!

The Inn is rich in history and a warm and relaxing retreat in an area with many things to do. We used to be anti B&B but we enjoy this one. This is our 5th stay here.

My husband and I stayed here for our short "baby moon/anniversary" trip to Lancaster County. We stayed in the Red Room; the room was well kept and the amenities were great. Rebecca cooked an amazing breakfast both mornings and was a very friendly host. We appreciated the reserved parking for B&B guests. We wish we could have enjoyed the back yard fire pit and the patio but were unfortunately rained out.
Thank you for a wonderful stay!

First time staying at this B&B. Our room was comfortable and the bedding nice. Breakfast was delicious. Good location to visit all the Lancaster sites. I wish the wine bar was open longer. Enjoyed the live music

What a wonderful getaway. We stayed in on Friday Night and listened to the local music, drank wine and had some small bites. Retired to our room, which was well appointed and comfortable. Saturday had a wonderful breakfast, headed out to the town and returned for lunch and more wine. Went out for the night in Reading, took in a hockey game and dinner and return to our comfortable room in the evening. Woke to a wonderful breakfast. Really nice staycation! The Inn is very well taken care of and all employees encountered were wonderful and caring. We will be back for more wine.:)

Doesn't get any better! 3 of us stayed in the Tailer's Cottage for a girl's weekend and had a fantastic time. Owner/Inn Keeper goes above & beyond. Friendly staff, great wine & entertainment at the on-site wine bar (Weathered Vineyard).
Food was amazing, room was perfect! Coming back in August with my husband!

Smithton Inn is exceptional. Our hosts nailed it! We were able to bring our dog. Pet friendly B&B! It was cozy and clean. Comfortable beds! Imagine a place built in the 1700s with all the latest creature comforts of Wifi and steaming! The breakfasts were phenomenal! We loved the wine bar with live music! What a great time! The host thought of everything!

The Historic Smithton Inn is the perfect Bed and Breakfast spot! So many fun things to do in the local area - Rebecca gave us many helpful hints and suggestions on places to visit. We had a wonderful time.

The room we stayed in was beautiful, the bed was so comfortable, the fireplace and lovely fire were the best on a wintry day.

The breakfast in the morning, delicious! Everyone here is so accommodating and friendly.

We have planned our visit for January and are looking forward to it.

Thank you so much Rebecca for making us feel like family.

Happy holidays to you and your family.

We had a great time. Wine tasting and live music! I think the only complaint I have would be the meat and cheese tray we had at the wine tasting was mostly crackers, very little meat and cheese.

The owners are so friendly and inviting. The house is warm and welcoming and their breakfasts are delicious! I've been staying at the Smithton on and off as I've been working in Ephrata for the last few weeks and this establishment really has become my home away from home.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Smithton. The inn is beautiful, the amenities are great! The bed sheets were the morning at incredible feeling we felt like we were laying on a cloud! Breakfasts were delicious and our host Rebecca was the very best! Thanks for a great stay ️

If you want a really cool place to relax for a few hours this is it. The property is historic and beautiful. They book really good live music. The wine slushies are very good. As a local I haven't stayed overnight but it is certainly not out of the question. I can't review the rooms having not stayed but if the other amenities on the property are any indication of the room quality I have nothing but confidence in an overnight experience.

Such a cute bed and breakfast! Room we stayed in was very nice and had a lot of charm to it. Breakfast was amazing and a highlight to our day. The inn is along a main road, so you do hear the street traffic if you are in a room right next to the road (not a detraction, but more of an FYI when choosing which room to stay in depending on how you sleep). Regardless, I highly recommend this place and would definitely come back for another stay.

Nice hosts! Cozy, clean rooms with characteristics. Historic charms with modern comforts. Wonderful breakfast from the host Rebecca, please find in the pictures! Live music every Friday and Saturday, finish around 8: 00 pm. (don’t worry to disturb you) Wine tasting all year around, beautiful backyard in the summer.

An amazing venue, historic, lovingly remodeled, and centrally located in Pennsylvania Amish county. Owners Rebecca and Dave Gallagher clearly invested much blood, sweat, and a ton of money to refurbish this 18th century tavern/stage coach stop originally built in 1763 to meet today's standards of a luxurious B&B.

Breakfast was delicious and Rebecca went above and beyond to ensure every taste was catered to. Even getting me scrapple, a Pennsylvania Dutch favorite I enjoyed as a boy.

You couldn't find a better place for any price.

Excellent breakfast cooked by Rebecca, wine tasting available, we had lovely cheese tray with a bottle of wine while we listened to music Friday and Saturday afternoons! The fire pit was super fun meeting new people in the evening, the down side was it’s very noisy being so close to heavily traveled street and our room the sage room needed a second chair for comfort since the inn doesn’t have a living room to sit in! The Bar area has seats but locked till morning, we’re early risers and would have loved to have coffee in room before breakfast in comfort!

Rebecca was amazing! Great food, provisions, clean and comfortable rooms and a fire pit.
She has a lovely wine selection which was an added surprise.
