Hiway Theater reviews
19Neat local movie theater. Only one theater in the building. Nothing mind-blowing, but great service and atmosphere.
So vintage and cute and the staff was very nice! Went to there to see Creed 3, wasn’t too crowded I will definitely be back!
This was my first time here and I really regret not coming sooner. This is a very beautiful and historic theater.
Local nonprofit community theater showing some new Hollywood films, along with classics, alternative/indie stuff, and special events. Friendly staff, relatively reasonably priced concessions, and rarely a full house so there's always a good seat available. More classic seating - not stadium layout or recliner massage chairs, but comfortable enough.
Excellent place to see a movie. Local vibe, great popcorn and.super nice staff. Highly recommend!
Fantastic old school theater! They show new films and classic films and offer a membership program. Make sure to sign up for their newsletter! Staff are wonderful - very friendly and helpful. Love this place so much!
An old-style, single screen theater that plays everything from classics to indies to current popular films. The popcorn is so good I almost made myself sick! Has a nice lobby with seating in case you need to finish your popcorn before you leave.
Parking is challenging as the theater is on a busy highway, but there are options within a short block or two. Worth the trip!
Saw a Xmas horror movie here and the staff was awesome! Popcorn was top tier and they have plenty of snack options.
Such a great experience. A very classic feel with just the right amount of modern. The theater is completely non profit. It is sustained by donations, memberships, and ticket sales.support this local part of history, and keep this beautiful theater around for years to come.
First time going here to see nightmare on elm, it was quite the experience. It is very crowded so get early to find a good seat and parking somewhere. I like how they have little details around to get you excited for it. Will definitely come back and hope they have more classic horror
Renovated, clean and socially distanced when we went.
Parking is the only challenge.
I love this neighborhood movie theater. I appreciate that on Sundays all who come has to show vaccination cards. I believe it also applies to Monday. Also.the popcorn is delicious. It always nice and clean too. The works are very friendly.
Join, become a member. Go Jenkintown! See a movie, go out for beers after at NCBC. Edit: make that Human Robot. Great community theater, plenty of twenty five cents (a quarter) per hour parking just 100 yards away.
Great Community Movie Theater. A relaxing enjoyable experience with a great staff and good prices.
Fantastic single screen historic theater. Great picture and surround sound. Beat the big theater mobs and enjoy an art house or feature film here
Wonderful restored one screen small town non-profit theater with great staff and clean environment.
Kind & friendly staff, a homey small town feel that is so refreshing from a loud & busy AMC. We were so happy to have randomly come across this theater & will definitely make it a regular place for date night.
Unbelievable and beautiful, single screen, 100- year-old movie theatre, friendly staff and great popcorn!
