Holiday Hair, Red Lion PA

My son’s dad took him for a haircut this morning because he’s in a wedding tomorrow and I didn’t have time. This is what he came home with smfh. He paid and tipped, like an idiot. I will now have to fix it. I guess they just let anyone cut hair? If you can’t even blend short sides into a longer top without it looking uneven and choppy, that’s sad. Not to mention the clipper lines on the back of his head. Just awful!

Lexi is no longer with Holiday Hair.
Lexi is phenomenal! She’s been doing my hair for over a year and it’s always beautiful. Highlights as well as fashion colors always turn out amazing! Cuts are always perfect. She also gives great men’s cuts.

It’d be nice if the salon were updated. Looks a little early 90s style inside.

I had an appointment. When I went in the stylist asked if I wanted my hair washed, I replied yes. Once at the hair washing station, she asks if warm water is ok. Yes please. She proceeds to blast my head with cold water. She had on a charm bracelet and the charms were hitting me in the face while she was washing my hair. In the chair, I told her a bob with short layers and showed her a picture. Twice she asked me if it was short enough. I didn't go to school to do hair and I showed her a picture. IDK.is it short enough? She proceeds with cutting my hair. She asks if want it blow dried. Yes. Please. I left the salon with my hair still wet. My hair looks nothing like what I asked for. I didn't want to be rude since I was in work attire but I look like a throwback to the 70's and will return tomorrow to talk about having it fixed.

Update: I went in this morning and the manager (I believe) fixed my hair. I am very appreciative of that! She did a good job and I know longer look like I walked off the Solid Gold Stage in the 70's. The only thing that I would've liked to have had happen.an apology from the young lady who did the initial cut. She awkwardly sat in the chair next to us and said nothing. I'm pretty easy to get along with. Just say "I'm sorry". However, all is well that ends well.

Erica did a great job cutting my hair very professional and very nice and she made me feel like family so I’ll be coming here all the time now and getting the haircut from her people she’s 10 out of 10 not many people know how to cut my hair, but she knew what she was doing

I am an Educator at Empire Beauty School and I had Erica as a student. She was a fantastic student and great at what she does and what she wants to continue to do. I can not wait to see her growth in this industry!

Erica is a great worker she has a good personality and will
Go the exra mile. I hope she continues on her journey doing hair and whatever else God has in store for her!

Lexi always does the best job on my hair and it turns out exactly the way I want it everytime and she is so friendly and loves to get to know her clients

I went to go get my prom hair done and Lexi did an amazing job. I wasn’t completely sure what I wanted to do but she guided me through it and together we made an amazing look that I loved and lasted for the entire night! I couldn’t have been more happy with what I got and the experience that came with it.

We moved to Pa.over twenty years ago and I have always gone to Holiday Hair at various locations. Most of them managed by Kimberly Billet, who has since found another occupation. She was my primary stylist and I followed her wherever she was transferred. Since she left, I have remained at the Red Lion shop in spite of it being further from my home. I live near the Maryland line. Tina became my stylist until a couple of months ago when she went out on her own and now Lexi does my hair.
I have read some of the reviews, and it is unfortunate that they have had unfavorable experiences. Since I go to the salon every week, I have had time to observe many things.
This is the first time that the salon only has one full time stylist and one that works part time until she graduates from school. It is very difficult to please and service everyone when people aren't serious about being hired. I have been there when applicants have cancelled interviews multiple times.
The salon is clean, the towels are washed, dried and folded. The bathroom is clean. The stylist are friendly and although they are overworked, they are doing the best they can. Yes, the salon's hours and days have changed, but one full time and one part time can't do it all!
Be kind and walk in another persons shoes before you go for their jugular.
