Holiday Inn Express Pittsburgh E - Waterfront Dr, an IHG Hotel, Munhall PA

My stay was horrible never again here for a company stay and I got a room with 2 beds in it one bed had stains on the sheets it’s whatever one night didn’t think Anything else about it claimed in bed in the other bed and turned over about 3 am and was greeted by a bed bug by the looks of it never again was wide awake and slept in my vehicle

My stay is always good here and the beautiful Jamaican woman at the counter is always cool and nice, I wish I knew her name, very professional. I think she deserves a raise after some of the customers I've seen her have to deal with, I couldn't have done it

Staff & mgt are first-rate. All very courteous & helpful. Breakfast is free & good, usually coffee in lobby all hours.

The hotel common area is small, so as the room itself. The room is ok clean, the bathroom has been cleaned but can see old stains. Room carpet looks worn out. I think it’s due to the age of the hotel. The place looks dated overall. Common area is not very clean, especially the hallway carpet. The dining area and breakfast was good enough. The location is at a convenient location. Close to many stores, including the nice waterfront shopping and restaurants area.

First time in Pittsburgh enjoyed myself didn't like all the hills and sharp curves would not like to be there in the winter

No microwave in the room! No ice bucket! The woman that ran the breakfast service had a nasty attitude!

Stayed a week, the employees are fantastic, the location is great for lots of different reasons!

Took us three rooms till we were finally given a clean room, and I can only assume the third room was cleaned while we waited in the lobby for 20-30 minutes, then imagine being woke up by the smoke detector going off at 4: 45 am, and the fridge didn't even work. Staff was very friendly and apologetic but still waiting for the Manager to call me back to discuss the multitude of issues we encountered. When asked about a refund on one of our night stays we were offered points we rarely travel to hotels for points be any value to us. It has been 3 days since we checked out and no communications at all from the manager. I feel bad for the staff at this hotel, because it feels as they are left to deal with issues and Management doesn't communicate or do their job. If Management was inspecting rooms, there would of been no need for us to wait for a third room, the previous resident of room #1 could of been charged for smoking in room, and room #2 would of been fully cleaned and ready for a new occupant. The front desk clerk should of not had to put an ozone machine in room #1 because if inspected that would of already been done. If rooms were inspected these issue would of never happened. If preventive maintenance was done the smoke detector would of not been going off at 4: 45 am.

Stayed here multiple times and each time is better than the last. The staff is so friendly and willing to help and the General Manager Lauren is the sweetest! We stayed just recently for my fiancé to have surgery and they were so accommodating! 100% will be staying there if a ever need to stay in the area! Rooms were quiet and clean. Overall an awesome hotel!

Stayed here for one night. The rooms were clean and quiet and the staff was friendly and helpful. One of the lights was out in the bathroom so it was a little dark. The bed was a little hard, but was still comfortable and I slept well.

The room smelled really bad. The beds were really hard. That was the best part of the stay. The manager James is rude and his manager Helen was even more rude. Without all the details I would just say stay anywhere else or be disappointed. If you choose not to listen to what I say and stay anyway you will for sure regret your decision especially if you have to deal with either manager mentioned. I stay where I'm welcome, and this place was terrible. If I could give it zero stars I would.

The pros- the room was clean. There was breakfast. Location was great for dining and shopping.
The cons-paper signs everywhere. Creepy vibe. People standing outside smoking. Boxes in halls the entire stay. Tiny rooms. Very dates dark wood. Would not stay here again.

Staff was pleasant. Had an issue and the manager Nicolas handled immediately. Rooms are old.

Not a very good stay. If i didnt pay for two nights in advance, i would would have stayed the second night. As soon as we walked into our room it had a really funky smell. Maybe like mildew or something like that. When i asked for a 2nd comforter the worker smelled liked alcohol. Breakfast was said to be 7-10 AM. Went down at 9: 40 and there was no food and the staff was eating it. Mini fridge did not work at all. Body wash and conditioner was empty and bed was like sleeping on the floor it was so hard.

This is one of the cleanest hotels I have stayed in. It is absolutely spotless. The staff are extraordinary. They are pleasant and so polite. The breakfast is delicious. Kudos to the Holiday Inn Express at the Waterfront in Munhall, PA in Pittsburgh.

Location is good. Room was dirty, Pubic hairs on the bathroom floor. King bed was very uncomfortable, couldn’t sleep at all. Staff was kinda friendly but also awkward. Will probably pay a little more for a better hotel next time.

The bathroom's drain was clogged and coffee machine wasn't able to heat. Fortunately, we told staff those situations, and she changed another room for us immediately. It's why I gave four stars.
