Holiday Inn Express & Suites Allentown West, an IHG Hotel

The rooms facing the street are pretty loud at night from all the trucks and motorcycles passing by. However, the staff and room cleaning are both excellent.

The pool was really gross and freezing cold. There was hair around it on the walkway and in it in clumps on the pool floor and it was cloudy.
The bathroom was not very clean in the room and the carpet had clearly not been vacuumed. Holiday Inns are usually reliable in the cleanliness. We stayed for one night while traveling through the area. There are two other holiday inns about an exit away from here that didn’t have a pool but the reviews were better.

I've been to so many hotels yet this was the one of the worse experiences I've had! After making a reservation through the phone and the customer service rep promising an early check in of 12pm because of my business meeting, I get there and the rude nasty manager in tht front basically refused to hear anything I had to say, brushed me off and told me to come back at 3. The pool was disgusting. There was dirt floating on top of the water full of kids and actually looked toxic and dangerous. A complaint was made to the front only for nothing to happen. The worker came in and basically said there were to many people in the pool and told me to clean it myself! I really felt so disrespected! I will never stay here again!

Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were rundown. Tiles were loose in bathroom. Pullout couch in suite room was uncomfortable. Also, the blanket was so full of holes and bleach stains that it might have been a drop cloth.

IHG member excellent program. Not utilizing it as much now since im back in Chiropractic school. Working full time as well. I love the "Holiday Experience" my creation so dont steal it. Experience Holiday abd you will reap the benefits

On August 24 2022 I myself my husband and two kids checked in to the Holiday Inn Allentown West. Days prior to coming I spoke to Stacey. Stacey is a wonder caring person and made me feel like I was home before I got to the hotel. On the 24th when we checked in we arrived at almost 9: 30pm. The young lady at the desk told me because we got there so late that the kids could enjoy the pool until 11: 30pm and kept the pool open late so they could swim. I forgot to get the names of the other women that night, but everyone I spoke to was very helpful. The highlights of this hotel is A.the fantastic staff B. The Free full breakfast. C. It has a pool the pool is a little small but perfect if you are traveling with the little ones.and it is only a 10 min drive to Dorney park and other areas of Allentown.
Breakfast was amazing and with a K Cup style coffee make in room plus microwave and mini fridge it perfect. This hotel has 2 sides the quiet side away from the traffic which if you do not like noise of truckers I would suggest asking for the quiet side. The hotel staff is very caring and accommodating.
The room the bed are super comfortable pillow top. We brought our Roku from home but it does have free wifi.
All through out the stay the staff was very warm and inviting. Always asking if everything was ok in our room. Making sure we were very comfortable. In the shower in the bathroom they did care dove on the wall Dove shampoo, conditioner and body wash.
On the last night we were stuck getting out of the theme park. My old was scared that we would not make it back in time to go swimming on the last night. I called the hotel to ask if the girls could swim late again. The young women on the phone said yes they could swim until 11pm.
If I could I would give this hotel 10 stars. I want to thank Stacey and the rest of the hotel staff for making our first family vacation after all the pandemic stuff a magical one.

Room very nice, bed was awesome, bathroom clean, furniture old, lobby ugly & not welcoming!

The ladies at the front desk were super friendly and helpful! There were fresh baked cookies and lemonade for free. Our room was clean and spacious and the beds were so comfortable! We would definitely stay again!

Went there for "The Best of the LV. Was a wonderful time.they had food samples from the best restaurants, lunch places & bakeries.the hospitality was very good.

The area was clean and the receptionist are very nice. I enjoyed the breakfast area too early but it was good. The best part was that the front desk receptionist was very helpful. I have to give it credit to Terry who works the night shift. He not only help me out with towels and water, he was also a good friend when I met him there. When I needed a friend to talk to I can tell that this man was a very good hearted person. I recommend to come through for vacation and have a blast. Especially because Terry so nice and generous is always there to help during night hours.

Clean rooms good breakfast and it's mainly business travel hotel. Try to get a room opposite side of street traffic or bring a radio to drown out noise.

The place is very well kept, inside and out. There is no laundry though. I had to walk back to the Trexler Truckstop to wash my clothes. Breakfast is pretty good. They have a pancake machine, turkey and pork sausage, muffins, cinnamon rolls, bagels, cereal, coffee, and other drinks and foods. Everything was the appropriate temperature for its type of food or drink. Location is kind of cool. There are multiple restaurants around.

We stopped here for one night on our way home from a recent vacation. We were put in a room directly beside where breakfast was served, which I thought would mean we’d be woken up very early but other than people talking in the hallway you couldn’t hear anyone in the dining area over the sound of the highway directly outside our window.

Turned out being next to the breakfast room was a good thing because the dining room is so small that there was nowhere to sit and we had to bring our breakfast back to our room.

The hotel was relatively clean but the sink didn’t drain and the whole place has a damp smell to it.

Spent the weekend here with friend I hadn't seen in 2 years. The staff were very polite but I guess the hotel was short staffed like everyone else. There was no one available to repair a broken lamp in our room or to replace the malfuntioning alarm clock when we checked in Friday evening. Although we had no messages, the message light on the phone blinked continuously all weekend long. There was a fine film of dust on the base of the television and places where the wallpaper was peeling off. There was also signs of a hole in the wall that was poorly patched. Worn furniture was covered with electrical tape to cover worn or missing upholstery. Our room was not showing signs of love and care. Avoid room 106, it's in poor shape. Was really shocked at seeing a room of this poor quality at a Holiday Inn. I hope this is not a sign of things to come.

This is one of the better holiday inn's we have stayed at. The rooms are clean and spacious. The Bed was super comfortable. The breakfast had a lot of hot offerings-western eggs, hash browns, sausage and bacon. And of course those delicious cinnamon rolls. It is located on a busy street so there is some traffic noise if your room is on that side of the hotel.
