Holiday Inn Express & Suites Gettysburg, an IHG Hotel

Booked a King and gave us a double. When complained to the booking agent later, they gave the booking agent a false claim that we were given a queen instead. Overall a sketchy experience. I suspect they collude with booking agents to scam customers. To add to my suspicion, the hotel refuse to give a folio upon check-out, citing technical issues.

Amazing, clean, welcoming hotel! Pros- very clean and great bathroom with hot shower, comfy bed and pillows, very appealing decor in all areas, welcoming staff, free hot breakfast with many choices- even an egg white omelette with veggies and oatmeal hot and ready, beer available for sale in the store area, toiletries available if you forgot something, shower gel was great. Cons- none. Highly recommend, near outlet mall and a few miles from Gettysburg Visitor Ctr. And all the auto tour stops.

Comfortable & clean, we requested a room away from the highway as a light sleeper so they gave us a room in the back and it was quiet. We felt safe here cameras everywhere and an outlet mall behind it with stores like coach. Breakfast was great and we swam in the pool which was fun

Will never ever stay here again. Trying to catch up with family that we get to see once a year and was ran in off from multiple places. Absolutely ridiculous! Staff was absolutely rude and hateful. Breakfast wasn't very good either. Don't waste your money.

This has to be one of the better hotels we've stayed at. The room was clean, bathroom was clean, the soap at the sink and in the showers that were offered to you in the rooms was very nice. Evening staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Morning staff was also friendly.

Stayed here just for one night but everything was great - room was clean, beds very comfortable, and staff very helpful. Breakfast buffet has so many choices and coffee was hot and fresh. Room was very quiet and we did not hear any noise from the hallways. I recommend this place!

Definitely one of the best hotels in the area. The room was immaculately clean! Staff was helpful. Breakfast was decent. Can’t go wrong with this one.

I’ve stayed here three times now to break up an anual road trip with my family. We will be making it a tradition. Large, clean rooms; close to a pretty decent outlet mall, Sheetz, and restaurant. It says “2-star” but it’s a really decent place.

It feels like it is way out of the way of everything when you first arrive, but in actuality you can get anywhere you want to go in Gettysburg within 5 minutes. The staff were excellent and you can tell they all enjoy their job.

This feels like a new property. It sits by itself at the end of a road behind the factory outlet about 3 Miles from the historic district and the layout is the current IHG standard. Lots of outlets and USB ports, Keurig, microwave, fridge, etc. Standard IHG breakfast and they apologized for not having any cinnamon buns. No great loss. They still had biscuits and gravy, omelets, cereal, oatmeal, sausages, pancakes, juice etc. The front desk staff was very friendly.one of the many lights in the room didn't work and they offered us another room. No big deal, it was for one night and the other 8 lights worked fine.

Here for a business conference. Clean and comfortable rooms. The staff is absolutely amazing! The meeting rooms are great, worked perfectly and the staff was very responsive and helpful. Terrific experience! Thank you so much!

After previewing several area hotels, I worked with James to secure a wedding block. This hotel was the only one I could find that allowed us to reserve the patio for a family function, propane grill included! The fact that the lobby, meeting rooms and rooms were clean, well lit and centrally located was also important. James was very responsive and helpful.

Fortunately, when I arrived (a day early because i was so excited for my son to get married and the rehersal had moved a day) the lady working the front desk was on top of her game and we were able to reserve a room! TUESDAY, became my best friend and go to gal as I worked through my issues. She was friendly, proactive and constantly trying to ensure that my wedding guests were well cared for. There were hiccups, but Tuesday was able to help us make things work. She even stopped by on her day off to check on us!

The housekeeping manager also was very helpful! The hotel is cleaning rooms daily and has a full breakfast with Hot coffee despite some supply chain issues beyond their control.

My pictures have family in them so I am not sharing, but other reviewers have wonderful accurate pictures.

I wholeheartedly recommend staying at this hotel. If you do, you will appreciate the top shelf service!

We stayed here last weekend. A party started on the patio beneath our room. It was so loud that we couldn’t sleep due to the blaring music and screaming all through the night. I called the hotel three times between 1-3am to get them to intervene. They did nothing. Called corporate Holiday Inn Express, they did nothing. I finally called back and threatened to call the police to intervene. Finally, they shut it down. We would have packed up and left if there were another hotel with availability. Since then, we’ve contacted customer service… they have been shamelessly unhelpful. Never again.

The service was great. Tuesday, from the front desk was amazing, she helped us with all our questions and needs. The hotel is close to the Mall and Friday's. They're at walking distance for people who like walking like me! The buses stop at the hotel if you want to visit downtown or do the tours around Gettysburg, which is essential to do it! Such a historic City!

Wednesday was there almost every night I stayed and was very helpful with everything! Always tried to give me a quiet room away from the highway. Thanks to Jim for giving me a travel nurse discount, it’s very appreciated. Very clean rooms and safe location. So refreshing.

Stopped to break up a long trip. Felt like the hotel was brand new; very clean and fresh feeling. Staff was friendly and helpful. Free breakfast/coffee/tea. Bed & pillows were comfortable and we both slept well. Also, great location right off the highway. Definitely recommend.

Janice, the manager, is outstanding. She is very hospitable and was great to our whole group. The hotel is clean and fairly new. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.
