Holiday Inn Express & Suites Lancaster East - Strasburg, an IHG Hotel

Everything was great! Good hot breakfast and a pool. The rooms are spacious with unique accommodations like a 3 sided clock and four spotlights for nonobtrusive room work (one spotlight did not work, room 301 all the way close to the window). There were 2 portable tables and 2 chairs so it would be great for a work trip.

On line add shows 99.00 a night.cost was actually 149.00.no help with this at the desk.exceptionally clean

This was our second time staying here and it is a very clean hotel, the room was ready when we arrived, and the complimentary breakfast is delicious a large variety, and offers for any dietary needs. This is a very peaceful place.

We were not happy our 2nd night there was a loud party going on across hall late Saturday evening until 230am 3: 00. When I called. Front desk did little to control the situation because the noise persisted and didn't settle down until 230-300am. We got very little sleep with a 5 hour drive ahead of us the next morning. NOT HAPPY.

The place to stay in Strasburg, Pennsylvania. Well kept rooms with a friendly staff. Only minutes away from the Strasburg Railroad, the Pennsylvania Railroad Museum & The Choo Choo Barn.

Check was easy and hotel was clean and same for room very clean, breakfast was ok. Pool was very dirty water was cloudy could see Brown dirt on bottom of pool and it's inside pool. We had an outside pool and it never got that bad.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The facility was clean and rooms were spacious. The beds were very comfortable. There was a hot breakfast the next morning which was well stocked and delicious. It was nice to be off hotel row in Rt. 30. It was quiet but close enough to restaurants and attractions. We will definitely return.

Firstly, it was a filthy hotel in every area. Room was NOT clean, dirty towels under bathroom sink when we arrived. Carpet NOT clean and used air spray to mask the awful smells in this hotel. Food area dirty and seating absolutely FILTHY! Cleaning people wandering around harassing guests but NOT doing anything! I watched a housekeeper drop a row of cups on the floor, then pick them up to put in rooms! Couldn't use the pool we paid for because it was so dirty (floating hairs all over it!) and too much chlorine for human health! Went there several times and never saw anyone in it! Food was awful and eggs made us sick to our stomachs! RUDE employees - RUDE guests. I have NEVER stayed in a multi-floor hotel with ONE ELEVATOR! It has NO A/C and is a breeding ground for illness when 15 PEOPLE ALL CRAM IN AT ONCE BECAUSE IT IS THE ONLY ELEVATOR IN THE ENTIRE HOTEL! How did this get approved by local Zoning and Construction? NOTE: This review forum FORCES you to provide a positive description (Great View the only one that pertains and not really accurate).

I want to say that me and my boyfriend absolutely LOVED this hotel! We just got to PA from jersey originally booked the clarion inn which was horrible so we went over to holiday inn. We definitely would have went with that first but we didn’t see it online at first when we were booking the hotel for the trip. But they gave us a discounted price cause we told them what happened. The room was amazing and super super clean! The hotel itself was very clean. The front desk was very nice, professional and very helpful when asking things to do around there! Couldn’t have had a better experience! If they have bad reviews don’t listen to them cause are experience was great!

Rooms said 106 on line get there 199 plus. Rooms are filthy, hairs everywhere capet not clean, pool had so many Chemicals in we couldn't even swim, and you wouldn't want to because it looked like milk, couldn't even see the light, it was so cloudy and the desk person just said sorry.

Hotel felt updated and was very clean. Appreciated the toiletries provided in the bathroom. Breakfast had a great selection to choose from and was delicious. Pool was busy the day we used, but the kids had a great time.

Was conveniently located near the things we planned to do. Would stay here again if in the area.

This hotel was a typical HI Express. The location is very convenient, and this was our second time staying there. However, the property needs to be refurbished because it looks and feels worn, and in some areas, not so clean. Our room was spacious, but had a musty smell which I reported to the front desk. Their response was that they will have someone check it out. The staff was generally not very friendly except for a couple of the housekeepers. We will probably look for other motel/hotel options if we visit the area again.

Absolutely great! After spending two atrocious nights at a BW! The hotel was clean and cool. The breakfast was great.

The breakfast bar has improved greatly since the last time we stayed enjoy the visit and stay

I stayed here over the weekend. Breakfast food was empty.
Indian staff were just sitting around instead of letting guest sit. Very disappointed with the staff.

Nice hotel, conveniently located near Sight & Sound Theaters.
The shower was not clean, there were greasy hand prints on the walls and the bottom of the tube was dirty!
I would stay there again!

Stayed here twice. Perfect location if going to Sight and Sound theater which is 5 minutes away. Close to restaurants as well. Breakfast included which is a big plus.

The 1st floor rooms were nicer on our last day than the 2nd floor maybe because they had been recently upgraded? All in all this was the second time we have stayed here and our stay was very pleasant. Staff was courteous and are party enjoyed their stay as well. We will be back again.

Tremendous clean service excellent breakfast pool with chair for handicap that no hotel like these offers tremendous to bring our special children the staff friendly I recommend it the rooms super clean no smoke excellent I recommend it
