Holiday Inn Express & Suites Lancaster-Lititz, an IHG Hotel

Nice place except the walls are thin and the floors and ceilings are very noisy.
I would recommend you get a 3rd floor room so no one is above you with Young children running and playing well after quite time.

We were lured in by the pictures and location. Needing a place for 3 months while in between homes this looked perfect. The first room we were in was so tiny. We were thrilled to have to pack everything up to move, until we saw the layer of dust we were moving into in the next room. Although huge. However long ago it was cleaned, it needed a recleaning before any living being would inhabit that space. A few weeks would go by and we were told we had to move again. This would be our final room. This also was the worst room yet. It was so moldy white hair was growing straight out of the lamp, I was questioned why I had put in in the hall. Looking behind the beds was what nightmares are made of. I knew they weren't going to clean it. That was beyond obvious as it hadn't been cleaned in I don't know how long. So with the extra pillows we pushed down what was coming up. Even our fish's water had to be changed daily bc there were white hairs all through it, and it had a lid. Just a few slots for air. This icing on the cake was the air conditioner. And in front of it. There was so much "dust" with black and white things in it which the manager Mark refused to do anything about. He also refused to move us. I can't imagine paying $5 grand to be treated like that. When we finally talked to him and the district manager, who was much nicer. They are first tried to blame the hair, the white hair on my 2 cats. Until I pointed out the fact the cats were black! And showed them my dust buster and that I'm cleaning the room myself.
The pool in that 3 month time was closed at least 70% of the time. The night staff was great. By no, I would never ever stay here again. Nor would I ever recommend anyone else do so. As far as those dusty moldy ac units go, at the next hotel, we stayed at. Bc we had a month to go yet. They had a machine for just such an occasion. I still can't get over the price we paid for that room, vs.the way we were treated and services rendered.

Not a real nice place. Room was not cleaned well. Bed was like sleeping on cement. Rug was stained in many spots. Room had an odor like they were trying to cover up another smell. Would not reccomend staying unless no other option. I will be contacting the company i booked through.

A lower cost hotel that gave 1st class service. Generous breakfasts. Rooms, lobby, etc, quite clean. Staff friendly and helpful. We would stay again if life takes us that way in the future.

We asked and received a refund through Expedia because we booked through them. The room had a musty smell and the curtains had visible black mold. They changed our room and the second room had the same issues. I called the hotel for a refund on the rental of the rollaway bed since the room got refunded because we didnt stay there. The manager Marc was rude about it. Stated that they werent supposed to give me a refund since I checked in, left my luggage and ran off to a theater that we bought tickets to and were late so we complained when we got back. Marc refunded the money, I said thank you, he said "uhuh" bye. Very unprofessional.

Unprofessional and untrained front desk and administrative staff. Do not stay at this hotel unless you book directly with the hotel. If you use any other booking service, even those they are contracted with, you are not worthy and you might as well save your breath asking for anything. Attached is a picture of the business center, yes you can smell exactly what you are seeing. The breakfast was great. The staff who operated the breakfast were wonderful and deserve so much more.

This hotel was fabulous. Front desk gentleman were extremely helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean and had everything you needed

I didn't expect such a great hotel out in lititz, but this place is clean, roomy, and has a solid continental breakfast.

Breakfast is great and the attendant dies a great job keeping it clean and stocked.

The rooms could use some attention. Not real bad but it's time.

If you like rooms that are dirty and looks like a crack house than you found the right place the rooms were filthy dirty sheets with bodily stains staff looked like they belong on family watch dog

Office clerk Jay was extremely rude to maintenance person who came in early to help fix something in kitchen. He berated him in front of customers & other staff members. Felt very sad for maintenance guy who was just trying to help out.

We checked into the hotel and found that it was very dusty and not cleaned well.
The room was not serviced after the first night and we had to ask for new towels.
Our room did not have free wifi on the second floor as advertised.
One of the reasons we rented was because of the high ratings on your site. There is no way this room was worth over $200 a nite. We will for sure never stay in this hotel again.

Very courteous.very honest. I left my pocketbook there by mistake.when I retrieved it everything was ther. All my money and iD.

We stay here every year when we visit family. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Our most recent stay had us in a smaller room that was ok. The food is typical hotel food and breakfast on Sunday is only biscuit & gravy which is gross. The fridge froze our drinks solid. Vending machine charge over 3 dollars for a small drink.
