The restaurant/bar that's attached to the hotel made false allegations and targeted a member of our group souley based off their appearance and "security" that was called couldn't produce any proff that they're licensed and or bonded by the state.

Love this hotel, always a great stay at the Holiday Inn Lancaster. Friendly staff, clean and modern rooms and a great restaurant and bar. The hotel has a perfect location in the heart of Downtown Lancaster.

The hotel is nice and the staff is very helful. I had no issues with the typical hotel portion of this stay.

However its location is next to a night club. I was on the 8th floor, and my floor was not facing the night club. The music was so loud I couldnt sleep.

I understand 100% that the hotel has no impact on the night club and its location. However he hotel can offer a solution. The night club music went on until 2: 30am, when i could finally fall asleep.

I HIGHLY reccomend for the hotel to offer ear plugs if reuested. Or if someone complains about the noise. They cant change location, but they can try and ensure there guest are impacted as little as possible.

Location was fantastic. Service was great except for gentlemen that worked at night was rude as all can be and just didn't want to be helpful in anyway I noticed this towards others guests as well. I stayed there from the 5th to the 9th of October. Maybe correct whoever that person was. Rooms were nothing spectacular but good rooms overall, the carpets could definitely use updating or better cleaning. Room had kind of a wet dog smell. Can't beat the location though and the food is alright.

Where do I start! The room they gave me was already occupied, the new room smelled like stale beer, the shower does not drain which is very dangerous considering I was in a handicapped room, the faucets in the sink and tub are not secured to the wall, the door to the room very difficult to open and to top it all off, the parking permit they gave me was expired. Definitely do not recommend staying here.

Our first time staying here but not the last. We had an excellent time. Loved the rooms and facilities in general. The location was perfect with local breweries and other activities within walking distance.

Room, breakfast (vegan options!) and gym were all good.
If I could give an extra star for the piano right outside, I would.

Was here for two nights for a work conference at Lancaster County Convention Center. Nice hotel with updated/modern rooms. Very clean, and housekeeping did a really nice job. Quiet rooms, and free Wi-Fi was a plus. I’m surprised in 2023 how some hotels don’t offer free Wi-Fi. Front desk associates at check-in and check-out were also great. I’d recommend this hotel if anyone’s staying in Lancaster!

BEWARE OF THE BUGS IN THE BEDS!

Upon arriving at the hotel, I was greeted by friendly staff at the front desk who swiftly checked me in and provided all the necessary information. However, things took an unfortunate turn once I entered my assigned room. Immediately upon entering, I noticed a rather unpleasant smell of mildew that pervaded the air. This was quite off-putting and not the first impression I had hoped for.

To make matters worse, as I approached the bed, I was dismayed to discover several bugs crawling on the bedspread. This discovery was quite unsettling and left me questioning the cleanliness and maintenance standards of the hotel. I promptly informed the front desk about the issue, and to their credit, they were genuinely apologetic and concerned about my experience.

The staff's response to my concerns was commendable. They quickly offered me a new room, which I gladly accepted. Additionally, they provided a breakfast voucher and a partial refund as a gesture of goodwill for the inconvenience I had encountered. The staff's kindness and willingness to rectify the situation helped alleviate some of my initial frustration.

However, my positive impression of the staff's efforts began to wane during the checkout process. Despite being promised a partial refund for the inconvenience, I was surprised to find that there was no record of the refund in the hotel's system. It was only when I expressed my dissatisfaction and mentioned my intention to write a review detailing the bug incident that the staff sprang into action. I was assured by the staff that the manager had already initiated the refund process.

Regrettably, the situation continued to unravel as it became clear that the third-party booking system I had used was unable to confirm the refund with the manager. Despite multiple attempts to contact the manager for verification, no response was received, and the refund was not processed as promised.

While the staff's efforts to address my initial concerns and offer compensation were appreciated, the lack of follow-through and communication regarding the promised refund left me disappointed.

If I could give a 0 I would. They double booked our room, came up at 11pm asking for us to move (we have a 9 month old) I said absolutely not. Prior to this they told us we booked on expedia and the hotel block so had 2 bookings, we were not the only family to have this. Absolutely awful.

Good place for a conference or wedding. Beautiful, spacious outside terrace. Comfortable rooms and great mattresses!
