Holly Days Nursery, Garden Center, & Landscaping, Ambler PA

I have bought plants here for years. Recently, I called in search of milkweed/butterfly weed to feed late-season monarch caterpillars. Not only did Riley take time to double check for me, but when I arrived, she went with me and was so friendly and knowledgeable it was beyond 5 stars! Thank you!

I have a small landscaping business (Refresh Power Wash & Landscaping) and I've been using Holly Days for the last six months now. I've built a great relationship with them, especially Laura! She has been great and helped me out with any questions I have. She is very knowledgeable about plants, and she has always pointed me in the right direction. They have great customer service, quality products and they're very reliable. Would highly recommend!

I had an excellent experience with Holly Days Nursery for aquatic services. Our pond pump needed replacement, so I contacted their office. Chuck got back to me quickly, came out to inspect the problem, and was able to get a new pump installed in a short amount of time. I was very impressed by his knowledge, quality of service, and ease of doing business. I would highly recommend them!

Great variety of plants, trees, supplies, mulch and seasonal items. There is plenty of parking and staff is very helpful.

Ryan our Project Mgr was professional, helpful and responsive during planning and implementation phases, and the crew that performed the install was incredibly skilled. Very fair price for the work done and we're extremely happy with the results.

Holly Days did a beautiful job with the landscaping around our deck and building a walkway and grill pad for us. The whole crew was friendly, knowledgable and professional, not to mention speedy. Definitley recommend!

I would like to say that I enjoy going to Holly Days Nursery to purchase my plants, because there is a young lady, by the name of Laura and she is a very, very knowledgeable and staff. I personally gave them a five star because they have a whole lot of variety of plants, trees and landscaping materials. Customer service should be at 10 not a five star.

Just wanted to let all know the quality of the workmanship that goes into Holly Days hardscape. We had a patio put in 12 years ago and we still love it. Did you ever have the experience of walking into a room and it is such a satisfying emotion that it kind of takes your breath away? Well, we still get that feeling 12 years later. The landscaping they did was gorgeous! Very well planned and nice colors are sprouting. They did my original landscaping years ago and I was glad they could do the new landscape. Still the original owner, and the staff is courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. High marks form Holly Days and thanks for your great work! Definitely made my property look so good that my neighbors are probably green with envy!

In September 2021 our property in Upper Dublin was in the path of the tornado spun out of Hurricane Ida. We sustained significant damage to our house and trees and shrubs losing 26 of the 30 trees and shrubs on the berm at the rear of our property. I spoke with several landscapers and nurseries about how to restore the area and create something that was visually pleasing, included a nice mix of trees and shrubs in terms of height, texture, and color, and was within our budget. Torrey stopped by our house and we had a good discussion about what we wanted and what he thought would work in the space. The plan Torrey sent us addressed our priorities, enhanced the visual appeal of the berm, and by late Fall Torrey’s team had installed two redbuds and a magnolia, a wall of green giants in the back for height, an attractive row of viburnums for texture, and spireas and physocarpus for color. Torrey also saved several lilacs that were damaged by the tornado and incorporated them into the site plan. Unfortunately, the magnolia, one of the viburnum, and one of the spirea did not survive the first winter and Holly Days replaced the viburnum and spirea and agreed to replace the magnolia with a female and two male winterberry hollies to add some winter color. Based on the success with the berm restoration project, we have had Holly Days do Spring cleanup the last two years. Everything looks great. We couldn’t be more pleased with the results.

Holly Days' delivery driver Art is an asset to the company. He is consistently friendly, professional, punctual, attentive, and always hits the correct spot of drop-off when delivering a load.

My wife and I are long time customers. We went there for pond fish and some plants. No one was tending in the fish area, eventually we asked for help at the front register. They direct us to a gentleman in the back on a computer. We go ask for help and he gets all flustered and yells to the front register to help us. We go back to the fish and wait for another 20 minutes. My wife and I decide to purchase the plants. While paying at the register, we again ask about the fish. We are again directed the the gentleman. I put the plants in the car and go ask the man about the fish, my wife has already gone back to the fish area. The man gets upset and yells up to the women at the register to help us with the fish. At this point I tell them not to bother and start to leave. I called to my wife at the fish area and we start to the car. As we get to the car the man and one of the women come running out shouting that they would be happy to help us. THEY JUST LOST A CUSTOMER, WE WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE.

Updated my original review. Had originally had a great experience when I called for a quote on some soil delivery, and then when I called back to order they were just as pleasant. Was excited that they were able to delivery the soil I needed the next day and the cost was very fair.

The driver did a great job and dropped it neatly on the tarp I had laid out and left no other mess behind.

What originally had me a bit upset was the quality of the soil that was delivered. It didn't seem up to the standards I had thought I'd be receiving especially for my raised bed veggie gardens.

I was surprised to have gotten a call from Brandon at the Nursery this morning, wanting to help make it right. I was very happy to find out they stood by their product and we were able to make a plan to get the issue corrected. Really looking forward to working on this garden with my kids so this means alot.

Looking forward to working with them and hopefully plan to do my plant shopping in a few weeks with them.
