Homewood Suites by Hilton Lancaster reviews
19Room (King Suite) was nice and spacious. Also very clean! One of the nicest rooms i have stayed in.
We stayed for 4 days and they refused to do any sort of room service. No clean sheets, towels, toilet paper or trash bags. Just laziness. You’d think for a ‘3 star’ hotel, you’d at least get some room service. I’m a Hilton honors rewards member and they turned me down for a late checkout. Out of all hotels I’ve been to all over the country, this is by far the worst guest service I’ve ever had. 0/10 will not stay here again.
Enough room for the six of us, barely. Beds would have been more comfortable if they would have just taken the cardboard box from the mattress and put the sheets on it. Kinda stingy with breakfast buffet, only put out 3 bagels at a time, made it a little difficult to feed a family of six.
Roaches found in the bathroom. TV's didnt work in the bedrooms and there was no one there to fix them.
Great week in Pennsylvania spent here! Spacious, clean and up to date rooms, great breakfast!
Great experience while visiting. Hospitable and attentive to needs. The breakfast was Great!
I have no complaints.
As a lifetime Diamond honors member, this property wasn't in my opinion up to Hilton standards. The bed mattress needs to be replaced, the air condition wouldn't keep our room cool, very stuffy, breakfast was unsatisfactory with serving cold potatoes, the mini cheese omelets were warm not hot. Was out of coffee this morning, took me almost 10 minutes to find someone to replace it.
Dissatisfied stay.
Located within half an hour of historic Lancaster, this hotel is just far enough away to be quiet but not so far that you can't do everything you want in Lancaster. The room was very clean, well provisioned and spacious.
Easy to access location and great for large groups. There is an outdoor courtyard with fire pit, basketball court, grills and seating. The pool is indoors and feet away from the courtyard.
Very lovely environment enjoyed the pool got locked out of the door and key wasn't letting me in the night shift clerk was very helpful and issued me 2 more keys.
Being a Diamond Hilton members doesn’t really mean anything at this hotel. Staff lacks proper etiquette and customer service.
Clean rooms and facility. Very helpful and courteous employees! Very good hot breakfast and a variety of breakfast foods. There is something for everyone for breakfast every day.
A very clean room. Service was awesome, handled the same last name issue perfectly. Very close to a lot of destinations
Bugs in the room and bathroom. First room has a horrific odor, originating from the sofa. The second room had bugs. Staff refunded money for the prepaid stay, and my family moved across town to the Doubletree
This place is a joke! There was 2 positive points to our stay. Duann was awesome at the front desk and the pool was nice! Other than that, it was not a nice hotel. I had 2 dogs with me, and told the front desk if there was an issue with them, call me and we would come back. Well about an hour after we left the hotel, I get a call from the manager stating he has had numerous complaints that my dogs have been barking non stop for over 2 hours. He was very nasty about it. First off when he called me, we had been gone an hour, not 2. The only thing good with the breakfast was make your own waffles. The eggs were cold and they were not real, the sausage and potatoes were cold as well. It doesn't do any good to be an honors member with Hilton because this hotel did not treat us well at all. I felt like they were giving us a hard time because we brought the dogs, but it's okay for kids to run up and down the halls screaming. Also there was a large group of people there that pretty much took over the lobby and outside areas. One person beside of us was on a zoom call and I could hear every word being said over my television. I had to leave a day early to due a family emergency and was told by the manager that I would get my money back for one night. Instead they made my last night there for more than it should have been.
This hotel is pretty nice! Rooms are big, amenities are spacious and clean, personnel is so nice and polite and breakfast has good variety and you can have coffee 24h! The parking lot is big enough so you won’t have issues parking. And you can even go for a run -or a walk- just right outside the hotel (they even have directions of the route). I do highly recommend this place.
We must have some bad luck or something because every time we reserve a room here, the jacuzzi/pool is under maintenance. Like, what are the odds? ! Can you please, please don't be like McD's ice cream machine and just give me satisfaction? Aside that, my room's toilet needs some plumbing love because you have to hold down the handle for any of your business to flush. I later learned the main floors' toilets were the go-tos. Now, normally, I love how soft the beds are to sleep in. But this past visit, I frequented the pullout couch bed. I froze that night in an achy-breaky fetal position bc not only did the temperature unit kick in 45mins later, I could feel every nook and cranny of the couch's box spring? It was horrible!) The only hospitable features that really made my experience seem better was the hot shower, the hot breakfast and wifi.
We stayed at this hotel this past week, and we are definitely going to recommend this hotel to our friends, it was clean and pleasant, the facilities are great, we had a great time at the outdoor patio eating our dinners every night, staff was extremely pleasant and accommodating even with being at full capacity, 5 stars!
We had an excellent experience in this hotel. It was the perfect combination of a hotel with a homey feel. It was clean, comfortable, and we loved the full kitchen, living room, two TVs, breakfast buffet. The staff was friendly and helpful. Great time!
