I bought a used hot tub here for 4500 and it lasted me 3 months until the top side controller went bad. Was not able to be a delivered a replacement part and here I am, spending 5k on a new replace like I should have right off the bat. It was an expensive lesson. Not to mention being called rude and arrogant by the owners when asking what’s up with the service. If you are looking for a used hot tub I would not recommend this company. I cannot speak for the new spas.

I purchased a tub Several years ago and that interaction went very well. A few months ago, I noticed a leak in the tub and found that it was not heating up.
I was patient with the nearly four week wait for service as I understand their many customers.
I paid $300 for them to come out and put in a new heating element however, the tub never heated up. After several calls to attempt to reach them and to report an issue with the replacement part
I was informed that there would be an additional cost to come back to the house.

I told them I would not agree to authorizing more charges until I actually receive the services they already billed me $300 for. I was told to find another company

My only recourse is to discuss the poor customer service and lack of integrity with others

The entire family at Honey Spas are phenomenal! Tim Honey has established an amazing business through his professionalism and dedication to providing a quality product with the customer being #1. Ellyn Honey provides prompt response for all communications and logistics as the organizer of the order, payment, and service. Krystal Honey is an amazing, friendly, and knowledgeable spa designer and servicer. I was more than pleased with my decision to purchase and service with Honey Spas and highly recommend their company and product to anyone who is considering a spa company!

We moved into a new house with a tub and pool and it was in rought shape. So we called and had service set up, and they installed the tub so we wanted them o do it. We also had the pool and he talked me intoe letting him do it. So we filled out the paperwork. Their was a misunderstanding with the paperwork someone put a amount down in how much it was gonna cost. A mistake, rather then calling and discussing it. They leave a rude message saying this isn't how we do business and "we" aren't the right people for him and we need to find someone else. Three days before their schedule to come out. Their rude people who talked down to us. Theirs other people to do the job.

We bought a house with a hot tub and we went to these folks to walk us through the specifics of how to care for it. They had installed the hot tub and the previous home owners recommended them. It was 100% a positive experience. From the quirky calls with Tim to the expert maintenance by Krystal. I really appreciated Krystal walking me thru the specifics! Great folks!

Recently bought a nice higher end 2015 60 jet 2 pump Barefoot spa in great condition for a very fair price. Had some initial small problem that was solved right away by them. They also included a new cover that they initially didn’t have in stock but gave us one of theirs until the new one came in. Tim also gave me some good advice when needed help reinforcing my deck which was appreciated. Ellyn also has been very nice to work with. I have been dealing with them for four years as we had a Coleman spa before this one.
Overall my experiences in dealings with them have been good.
5/10/22 service
Had them come out to replace the heating element. At first they had a problem with the element rattling inside the tube but they came back the next day and replaced that element with a new one and it works perfectly. I like how they don’t give up until the problem is solved and don’t give you a hard time if something does go wrong. Great job!

I love Honey Spas. I've had my hot tub for many years now, but how you're treated after the sale is what's important. I contacted them recently about a replacement part I needed and they shipped it immediately. Great customer service!

Unfortunately, I am not able to recommend this company to anyone who still prefers to wear a mask in public.from the moment we stepped into Tim’s office, we were heckled for choosing to wear masks.during our brief interactions with Tim, he was extremely rude and unprofessional regarding our masking preferences—to the point where we chose to leave and take our business elsewhere.update in response to the company’s reply - I took no issue with Tim not wearing a mask. I have an issue with Tim’s rude, invasive, unprofessional and condescending questioning regarding my preference to wear a mask.

Amazing customer service as always. Honey Spas is my go-to for all things hot tub related. A little while back my hot tub was failing me. I needed it to assist me with recovery after an injury. They completely replaced a failing control panel with a an aftermarket all while customizing it to match the existing acrylic in record time at an affordable price. Most recently it was time for a new cover, my old cover remained on file so ordering one was a breeze and actually less expensive and better quality than buy on-line. Will not go anywhere else for anything hot tub related. Thank you Honey Spas

Nice family business. I needed immediate attention for my outside hot tub. There was a major leak and I was afraid the single digit temperatures would cause more damage. They were able to come out and repair some leaking tubes within 24 hours of my call. After 1 hour service charge, the hot tub was fixed. Don't let the paperwork scare you off, just business protocall.

Owner (Tim) was extremely rude to returning parts customers. Proceeded to actively make fun of me, while his wife stood there and laughed. With service like this, these people should be put out of business.

Edit after business response: uncommon or not, it doesn't excuse Tim literally mocking me by calling your daughter over the radio with the only intention of making fun. Also I see your rating went down.probably deserved. Good luck in your future business endeavors!

We purchased our spa in September of 2020 with the expectation of at least a 6 month delay due to COVID supply chain issues. Ellyn was great at providing updates during the manufacturing process. Krystal was also great with assisting us when we visited for jet placement once the shell arrived to their facility. Our spa arrived to our home in June of 2021. We didn't have a chance to use it until late July due to an outdoor renovation. Unfortunately, we had a couple of hiccups with the in.clear system malfunctioning. Both Krystal and Ellyn were wonderful with contacting the manufacturer and having the parts replaced and installed under warranty. As new spa owners, balancing chemicals and figuring out how to increase bromine levels through the Gecko touch pad was a learning curve. But once we figured it out, the spa works wonderfully. A shoutout to Krystal for helping to minimize the curve.

Working with Tim and Elllyn was a lot of fun. Not to mention their daughter as well as Winston the four-legged customer service manager. We are about to get our spa up and running. It was a great product for the price!

Very professional and courteous, on time, and did a great job repairing our spa. Also enjoyed a great chat with Tim, and meeting Sir Winston at their shop.

Can not buy new at this present time due to back logs of importing product, thus we will be getting a used repaired jacuzzi from them eventually.

I have been to Honey spas 3 times before to purchase parts and supplies and I will no longer be doing business here. Tim was extremely rude to my friend and I who were looking to purchase a couple simple parts from them. I had the specs (these were 2 simple 1/4" MPT hose barbs) and rather than get the parts for us, Tim decided he would rather make fun of the quality of the heat exchanger we were trying to install, and then tell us to leave.message received, we left and will not be returning, ever again.

We found Honey Spas in a small ad in our local newspaper. We visited them and the first thing that struck us was that it is a family run company, with family ethics and ideals. At first, I thought it was a "put on", but Tim Honey, the owner, is a genuine guy. What he says is what he means, and over the time we have dealt with them, I've found that to be very true. His wife Ellyn, is the co-owner and is a very friendly person. They both really just want to make you feel at home, and be happy with their product. They take the time to talk with you and answer all your questions. Ben and Krystal, their adult children, know the ins and outs of the company, and are able to help/assist you also. They construct the spas and tubs from the ground up. Very knowledgeable.
My wife and I purchased a 19' swim spa. It was the best money I think we've ever spent. My daughter and granddaughter (11 years old) just LOVE the swim spa, and we are all in it a lot. We even were in it in the early days of the 2014 -15 Pennsylvania winter. It was COLD outside, but we were warm in the water and had a ball.
If we needed to ask a question, Tim, Ellyn, Ben or Krystal answered it. There were only a couple of times when we couldn't reach someone on their office or mobile phones. The Honey's are very accommodating. If we needed them to come to our house to check something out because I was clueless as to what to do, they took the hour drive from their office to my home and looked at my problem personally and explained to me how things worked, again. We are so happy with what they have sold to us.
The first winter, I said to my wife, "You know, if the electric goes out at our home (and it goes out more then it should), we're going to be in trouble if the water in the pool and tub freezes. " So we called Tim and asked him about the whole house generators that he also sells. We were convinced we needed one, and knowing his service and help with our swim/spa, we purchased a whole house generator from Honey Spas. Another excellent purchase. Every Tuesday, it turns itself on at 4pm and runs for 20 mins.then turns itself off. This is a safety factor to let you know the generator is in running condition, and running properly. Yesterday, we were in the swim spa for 4 hours with my granddaughter and 3 of her friends. It was a Friday about 11: 30am. All of a sudden the generator goes on. I was puzzled. Why did it go on now? And it only stayed on for about 10 mins. I thought that maybe the clock in the generator got changed some how. Well, I found out later, that the electric company had some problems in the area and they actually turned the electric off in the area. I was really happy to know that our generator did what it was supposed to do in a real life situation, even though it had been given a test of the electric going off when it was installed.
Tim Honey and his company are wonderful to work with. They have two excellent products that we have purchased. We are more then happy with both of them (the swim/spa and the generator), and are enjoying the swim/spa almost daily.
I know this review sounds too good to be true, but it is true. We didn't know the Honey's before meeting them for the first time after reading their ad in the paper, but we're sure glad we went to talk to them. If you deal with the Honey's I know they will give you the same kind of family service that they have given to us. Their word is their bond, something that you don't find very much of in today's world. Their products are first class.
