A truly great place to buy a sewing machine. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly and made my wife and I feel very welcome. Leon was truly a pleasure to work with as was the rest of the staff. They took time to answer my wife's many questions about the various machines as she was trying to decide what to buy. She ended up buying both a sewing machine and a Serger and she got tremendous deals on both of the machines! If you are in need of a sewing machine or supplies, I urge you to make the drive to Hoovers and check them out. I'm sure you won't be disappointed!

One of my favorite and best sewing/fabric shops. I travel over an hour to shop or browse their extensive lines of all things sewing related. Helpful, personable employees always go the extra mile to accommodate customers. I enjoy spending hours here even if I don’t purchase anything. Great classes, too, demonstrating use of various Bernina sewing machines. Large selection of fabrics is available…batiks are a favorite of mine! Thank you, Hoovers, for a great experience each time I visit and shop!

Had a problem with my Bernina and called, the gentleman told me what to do and fixed the machine.

Had to edit my review from 5 stars to 1 star. Went in with someone to help her pick out a new machine. We had received a flyer in the mail that they were running a sale. When we asked the sales lady about the sale she said "they send those out but our prices are already so low we can't really go by that. " As if they have no control over what gets mailed out with their name on! When we walked out (with a new machine) I noticed they had the exact same flyer posted on their board. I was disappointed that they would stoop to the level of false advertising

Friendly, professional and very helpful staff. The owner is a good guy and will remember you, he seems to remember everyone and never seems to busy to say hello. The prices are fair and they machines are amazing. Check it out.
