Hot Wok reviews
11Absolutely excellent Chinese food. Large portions and reasonable price. Quick service as well. We will be back and I highly recommend you try.
This place was my spot for years but, lately not so much. Ordered on the phone and picked up in store. Service was fast and friendly, however, quality of food was sorely lacking. Ordered 3 Egg Rolls, Sweet and Sour Chicken and Roast Pork Lo Mein. Very standard order for myself, wife and son. Everything was overcooked and terribly greasy. Lo Mein was so overcooked it fell apart as you picked it up, to the point I had to abandon my chopsticks for a fork, and then a spoon. It was absurdly greasy as well. Sweet and Sour chicken consisted of nice big chunks of white meat chicken, surrounded in grease soaked dough. Crispy and tasty but literally dripping grease. Egg rolls were so overly greasy that they tasted like straight peanut oil, followed by cabbage and more oil. Also, the were on the edge of burnt. Seriously disappointed as we've been budgeting for months and decided to treat ourselves to what used to be our favorite Chinese spot, for the past 5 years. Huge let down. Probably not going back. 3 stars because of Nostalgia and Service. Also want to mention that when I went to pickup my order I was less than impressed with the cleanliness and handling in their kitchen. That's all I have to say about that.
The restaurant is small inside and has ample parking. The restaurant is clean and the staff are friendly. But the best part is the food- it tastes fresh and isn't overly breaded (general tso chicken). This is my daughters' favorite Chinese restaurant in the area. Try their craving Rangoon and teriyaki chicken, and their chicken and broccoli, and.
Food is hit or miss with them.
I am not a fan of the cleanliness of the waiting area/kitchen. (pick up only or delivery btw) boxes of empty frozen foods stacked in front.
I live in EXTON and personally out of all the Chinese places I love going here. The women are super sweet, the wonton soup is my favorite. I probably get it twice a week. The Roast pork egg roll is amazing. I’m actually gonna order some of their food now when I do I’ll add some photos.
Thank you for always delivering hot and delicious food, one happy customer and family. Food always comes hot and fresh, and fast too.
Ordered chicken wonton soup and dumplings with chicken noodles. The noodles were ok, chicken was toooo fried! And I found something brown inside the dumplings, definitely not chicken,
Best egg rolls ever! The chicken looked odd and was tough but the sauce was good. Hope it was chicken anyway. Gave most to my dog. Had the runs all day today and this was the only thing I ate except an insomnia cookie so chances are it was the chicken that made me sick.
Great filling American style Chinese food! Delivery came almost instantly! 10/10 很好吃
Edited: Still amazing and quick! The crab ragoons are my personal favorite
There is food and there is dog food. This food is not fit for a dog. Looks old, filled with water and had a nuclear orange color to it. Taste like msg. Is that peas in the lo mein? Please be ware. Wish someone had warned me.
I ordered low calorie Steamed Chicken with Vegetables with brown rice. The vegetables were soggie. It came with a tasteless brown sauce.
I get it... Low sodium is a factor.
But and I mean but! - What is high calorie about GARLIC, Onions and peppers?
For goodness sake at least use some fresh garlic and nice crispy cooked veggies!
