House of Thai Cuisine reviews
15They'll sub tofu for meat in almost anything. Absolutely delicious noodles and curries and soups. Very well balanced. Fast and polite service.
The food's amazing and great service. Delish drunken noodles, spring rolls, dumplings, and curry dishes.

House of Thai was recommended to me by couple of my colleagues, some of which would drive 30 minutes just for their food. After ordering couple popular items, I can see why.
At the time of my arrival, there was some minor construction ongoing. But that didn't impact my experience, since we ordered for takeout.
What was ordered:
Spring Rolls (Good)
Thai Fried Rice - with Chicken (Delicious)
Drunken Noodle (Absolutely delicious) - I can see why it is so popular. I would not hesitate to order this dish every single time. It is packed with flavor, and the food is thoroughly cooked, tasted very fresh.
If you are in the area, highly recommend giving this restaurant a try.
I have visited Thailand several times in my life however, I have never tasted Thai food as good as House of Thai Cuisine on Cottman Avenue!
Ordered through Uber eats. Arrived hot and delicious! Everybody in my household enjoyed the food. And the Thai iced tea was absolutely delicious. Great portions and yummy food. Dish in the photo is Beef Pad-See-ew
Delicious! Well seasoned pad thai, tasty soup packed with umami, and light and balanced mango sticky rice
Very good food. Wished menu was a little mote expanded. Ex, appetizers with duck, more varied options for Pad Thai dishes like jungle princess.
They were fast and the drunken noodles were good with a nice tangy kick to it. We found it on Yelp and went back the next day.
My husband and I love their food. Ambiance is very relaxing and zen-like. Can't wait to go back.
Amazing food, quick service. Best Thai food ever. Owner is always so kind. Beautiful atmosphere. Highly recommended.
Absolutely best Thai Food in Philadelphia! Definitely come here if you are craving traditional, juicy, fresh Thai Food with a side of their signature Thai Ice Tea! I was going to take a photo but I devoured my meal in minutes. Though I must say there is a good amount left since the portions are HUGE. 10/10 Stars thanks! Will be back: D
See my old review below & gave that place 5 starts before BUT now everything changed. It feels like it changed the ownership. I ordered food & it wasn't even close to what it was before. I wouldn't recommend it now. "I absolutely love this place. Very minimalistic, modern & very pleasant restaurant decor. Food is very good & it is specially with to come during the lunch time. 3 course lunch is only $12. I can only compare this restaurant to Royal Thai Orchid in Malvern, other Thai places I went never came close to this 2. "
There are a few comfort foods and drinks I turn to on a bad day, one of which is Iced Thai Tea. Am I writing a review just about a drink? No but I will admit that I often visit just for the tea. It is SOOOOooo good but the food is too (the Chicken Coconut Soup is one of my go-tos). Plus, the gentleman working at the door could not be kinder and more polite. I'll be there again soon.actually, probably today.
Awesome food and friendly staffs. I love the pad woosen aka glass noodles dish and the sweet black soy sauce flat rice noodles dish. Never disappointed. Delicious!
This is really, really, really good. It's not at all in a location where you'd think such good Thai food would be, yet somehow by the Grace of God it found its way here to bestow its dishes of joy unto all of us. I especially recommend the Massaman Curry or the Tofu Special, but they haven't gone wrong with us yet!
