Howard Gittis Student Center reviews
15Great place to grab lunch and meet up with friends. There's a Starbucks and a large bookstore that has a ton of TU merchandise.
The Family & Friends end of the year event was fabulous! The food was delicious, the music great!
There are pool tables, a foosbal table (which is so-so), ping-pong tables, tv room and some video game room. I have no idea what video games are available, but the ones I've seen are pretty basic. Also they have board games but most of them are rather bad. Probably Catan is the only normal board game I would play. There are limited options for eating and drinking (e.g. Can't buy water only soda, or anything other than snaks to eat), but the space is good otherwise to chill at
A bias review given that I am temple student. But it have decent amount of options available at the food court. There is Post office available available and Barnes and nobles.
Made a return to Amazon. Convenient. The staff was both professional and nice. Was able to answer all my questions.
Recommend this center for your UPS drop-off.
Will be going back again.
Thanks for your help, guys.
Awesome experience. UPS guy made all the difference with a smile and helpful service. You rock with great customer service.
The staff were helpful and concise, and I got everything done that I needed. There were some confusing signs that almost caused me not to complete my tasks
Was dropping a package off to the UPS store. Of course there wasn't ANY parking nearby. I guess Temple Police don't want anybody parking around the area. As they think only STUDENTS, go to The UPS store! Well WRONG-O!
The customer service was great! Above what i always get or expect. I'm sorry I didn't remember the person's name. But was a pleasant surprise compared to the routine of bad attitudes you can find.
The UPS Store is very convenient!
The Notary was very helpful!
Great Customer Service by all!
From the UPS store to Starbucks, the student center got every Temple student covered for his/her basic needs. The great thing about it is you don't need to show an ID to get in, as this is the place you come to get your student ID in the first place. All the societies live here and when they have events, it's most likely hosted in rooms 200B which is quite daunting to find from the entrance because there are no useful directions to get from point A to point B here. Arrive early if you're a freshman otherwise you'd be struggling to locate where you'd want to go like a fish out of water. You can get passport size photos for cheap here too on the second floor, cash or diamond dollars only, but there are two pnc ATMs here that got you covered. Speaking of covered, the wellness center on the second floor sells items such as condoms (all textures, thickness and flavors), dental drams etc for the extremely cheap price of 10 cents per condom to nail down the spread of STDs on campus. The Caveat being you need your Temple ID and there's a 50 condom limit per month in case you wanted to start a side hustle.
Dropped packages off to the UPS. Great place they a Starbucks and some other restaurants in the building
Laid back. Need to go there more to get better opinion at least people give you peace when walking through
Well appointed bookstore on campus. Great selection of team gear. In the lower level of the center.
Clean, friendly service. I hope Chick-fil-A put a sign on the door of the student center to let the students know that they are open for business. Thanks
