Re-posting from a local foodie group:
I forgot to take photos, but just a shout out to Hublersburg Inn. Their food is excellent and they have the best service. My friend and I both had salmon dishes (two different) and the salmon cuts were generous and delicious. We got the calamari special and cheese curds for apps. Also delicious. Our server was so friendly. I forget his name but he’s waited on me before and I just adore him.
Their staff is always so friendly and accommodating, even when it’s busy and chaotic. I’ve never had a bad meal there and I absolutely love their space. Last night I ate in the upstairs space for the first time and it was so cozy! They are just doing it right out there. If you’re ever unsure whether it’s “worth the drive” just know that it most certainly is.
We absolutely love this place. The people are super friendly even when extremely busy. The service is terrific. The food is excellent with some unique flavors and local foods. The prices are very reasonable as well. It is a good atmosphere, although when inside the waiting area is very cramped and felt like we had to hover over people sitting by bar. The outdoor patio is the best to sit at when open.
We had a lovely family dinner that tasted great in a private room upstairs! It was a great evening and we highly recommend this Inn for a nice dinner for both small and large groups!
Food was absolutely amazing! Cocktails fantastic, dessert to die for. The service was also outstanding! 12/10 so happy this gem is only 10 min from my house!
The best food in Clinton and centre county. We went here and sat in one of the private rooms upstairs. Awesome family experience with an amazing waitress. She was very talkative and attentive. I will stopping by every chance I get.
Fantastic meal, great prices. The waiter was excellent. Loved the atmosphere. The gas fireplace will be serviced soon and will definitely add to the atmosphere. Loved the quiet, calming music. Great place to eat! Definitely will be returning.
Our server Alex took care of a table of 16 very nicely. Our food was hot and delicious and he attended to our needs promptly. Can't wait to go back again!
Amazing food and cocktails, one of our favorites for date nights. Especially nice to sit out on their beautiful patio when it's warm out. Also incredibly friendly service.
Looking for something out of the way and unique? This is your place. Restaurant is in and old house from the 1800s that is beautifully decorated. The food is consistently good and different enough to make you want to come back and try something else. Definitely worth the drive!
The Hublersburg Inn is a hidden gem in Centre County! It is close to State College and the surrounding areas with an amazing outdoor patio perfect for warm weather days and fabulous private dining rooms upstairs for bigger parties. The menu is also perfect for foodies and don’t even get me started on the drinks. If you like bar food with a twist and trying new things with drinks that are thoughtfully prepared, you have to try this place out. Their special events, outdoor music, and chef dinners are a great date night out without long lines and poor customer service. Seriously, this is one of my go-to’s I tell everyone about and I just hosted my holiday Christmas lunch at the Penn State room upstairs, it was awesome! Will for sure be back again soon.
The wait for our breakfast food (and check) was very very long, and when the food finally came out, it was barely warm. The staff was busy setting up tables for other groups who would be coming in, and not diners who were seated. We definitely felt neglected, and had to work hard to keep the kids from being done with the experience.
Always a good meal and a creative menu. Nice service and cozy atmosphere. Dining room gets noisy at busy times, but otherwise it is a place to relax and enjoy dining.
