Humane Animal Rescue reviews
34Low cost vaccine clinics, make sure to keep your pets happy and healthy! Looking for a new pet to adopt, check out all of their adoptable pets!
I've always knew of the humane society, I always heard pretty fare activity, but I have not personally dealt with then, I would love to adopt a small Doggy like Yorkies, Maltese, little poodle, And I always hear this is the best place to go, if want to Adopt. So I'm looking forward to seeing my future friend. Thank you.
I've called and left voicemails about having to surrender my cats because my daughter is allergic and no one will return my voice-mail. I just want my cats to be removed properly and taken care of. It would be nice to at least have our calls answered instead of ignoring us. But as I can see no one else's voice-mail is being returned either pretty sad. Called and left voice-mail for 3rd time let's see if maybe they call back now.
Mahogany ran for help when I was in danger. Animal control picked her up, took her to Humane Animal Rescue, they read her microchip, but they had old address & didn't know where to come. So she overnighted there, got up-to-date on her shots, new license & registration, and was waiting when I picked her up the following morning.
Thank you all. My GIRL did what no one else could. She ran for help.
This review is for the adoption center. If you follow the procedure (fill out an application online, wait for them to call to set up an appointment, arrive at the appropriate time, call to be let in) everything goes very smoothly. The wait time was about a week until they got back to me to set up an appointment for a cat meet. True, when I arrived the call kept going through to voicemail but I just kept redialing until someone was able to pick up. They’ve got tens of animals to care for so I’m not surprised they aren’t just standing around by the phones.
The facility itself was really clean and the staff was super friendly. We were able to meet a couple different pets before we picked the one we felt was right for us.
Once we made out pick we were checked out and good to go in five minutes.
Worth every penny for our new family member. Thank you for your wonderful work!
The lady that works at the front desk with the long hair was very rude! Will never go back. Horrible place. I feel bad for the animals there, to face such rude, mean, nasty people that work there, they don’t care about the animals, they just want you’re money!
Very inconvenient staff schedule you to go in and still have to take my cat back for a simple spayed procedure like what kind of vet is this place I would give a 0 if possible
I had so much fun, seeing all the animals! My aunt, Monica, works here and I really wish I was her. The staff is amazing, super nice and genuine. All the animals were so adorable and looked well taken care of. I fell in love with this one cat, so precious. I wish I could've gotten her. Overall I really enjoyed my time there.
Friendly staff and a clean facility. The animals were adorable. If you're looking to adopt, this is a great place to look.
Excellent facility and people. New building. Plentiful parking. Very well run. If you are interested in a rescue dog or cat, give them a call. If you find a stray, bring it here.
I adopted the best dog ever from here. The people are friendly & helpful & love what they do.
Clean, large kennels, helpful staff. Terrific volunteers. Strongly recommend people ADOPT rather than buying a dog from a breeder or much worse - a "pet store" where many pets come from puppy mills. Terrible.
Adopt a rescue dog at a kennel! They are more loyal & devoted than getting as a puppy from a breeder. We've had both, & I would always get a rescue dog. They need your love & thank you for it forever.
Everyone needs a pet to love. If you can pay for the animal if you have a living home uou own then way not a pet too.
My brother and I just adopted a dog from here. The staff were amazing and spent hours with us during a meet and greet with our current dog to make sure we had a good match and a smooth transition. They kept impeccable records for her treatment history while with them and explained everything thoroughly. I would definitely adopt from them again!
Got our new fur baby here last week. She is beautiful and we couldn't be happier. All the staff was great, the facility is clean and modern.
Wonderful cheerful shelter.
You can tell they really care about the animals. The shelter is immaculate, well lit, and peaceful.
Not only is the facility spotless and all animals extremely well cared for, the staff is amazing! Extremely knowledgeable and willing to spend as much time with you answering all of your questions. We lost our 13 year old Belgian Malinois and Human Animal Rescue helped put our family back together again.
Very hostile and unhelpful staff.clearly off-putting and DISCOURAGING to our interest in adopting a pet. (We actually HAVE adopted there before and had a good experience.) I find the staff attitude contradictory to their purpose of working at the humane society.
What I love about them is that they will not euthanize an animal unless it's too aggressive or too sick to be rehabilitated. They're not one of those places who will euthanize just because they need more space. But because those places do exist, please spay/neuter and microchip your pet! If you want to get a pet please adopt! When you adopt you save 2 lives, the one you adopted and the one you made room for!
What a wonderful and caring place. We took our puppy there for her first vet appointment and it was a very positive experience. The facility is brand new and has parking. There’s also a store inside for pet goods.
