Hummel Nature Trail, Hummelstown PA

Pleasant walk, with a nice ratio of up, down, and level terrain. Nicer when everything starts to bloom. Nice water feature going along the creek. Benches to sit down along the way, and mainly gravel so it's not muddy. Short, probably less than 30 minutes at a slow pace, enough to enjoy birds etc.
Update: There's been some construction here, evidently to improve drainage, and other things that I'm not sure about. It's still a nice walk, and the deer haven't left, thank goodness. I highly advise you to mist yourself with some Deep Woods Off or some other bug repellent, because it can be buggy at times!

Nice trail but super short. It is probably best for finishing or if you need to walk a pet.

Pipes are being installed to keep the swamp level at decent height. Otherwise it is a nice quiet place to walk the dogs.

We saw 2 deer meandering out of the woods this time. Great trail nice for families. Mostly flat.

Nice walk/hike on well-maintained path through meadow and along riparian path. Total distance just over 1/2 mile, slight incline in places. No restroom facilities, dogs permitted on leashes, pavillion.
