Huntington Learning Center Abington PA

I contacted Huntington so that my child can learn some study and organization skills, to supplement her school work. We paid for and took the initial evaluation. Then, we had our meeting to go over the results and were told that tutoring starts at a minimum of 3-4 days a week and if we wanted to come in less frequently, they don't do it. I wish I knew this ahead of time as I thought it was similar to Sylvan, which lets you choose the number of days per week that you would like to come in. Other than that, they seem like they would have been good.

Hi I am Moriel Ben-Abou. When I first started in the Huntington Learning, like most kids, I did not want to go. However, I put in the hours with Mr Daryl Benjamin. All of the hours I spent at the Huntington learning center has benefited me in a very positive way. I have built many skills over the years. I was able to understand passages and find the main ideas of them. I was able to locate and find facts in the texts. Books like sequencing and locating helped a lot too. I really liked to come to the learning center and build my math skills with Mr Eric when I was younger. All of the skills that I have built over the past few years has helped me with not only my S. A. T, but also in school. I have moved up several math classes and this summer I am taking an Ap math class in a span of 3 months. The first time I took the S. A. T I scored 1090. I was upset. I then started studying with the Huntington learning center and worked very hard to get my score. I ended up scoring a 1430. I scored a 780 on the math section and a 650 on the reading/ writing section. It is only June and I will take the next test in August. I thank Mr Nick very much for helping me with the math section and Mrs Cathrine for helping me on the reading/writing. I would not be where I am today without Mr Benjamin and the Huntington Learning Center. I thank you guys so much! The Huntington Learning Center saved my academic future and now I am able to apply to most schools that I have dreamed of going to! I highly recommend the Hlc to any student that is looking to raise his/hers S. A. T score!

My daughter has been a student with Huntington since January of 2020. She is receiving help in both Reading and Math. When she began her program she was performing below grade level in both subjects with little enthusiasm. She was receiving face to face instruction prior to the Covid-19 shutdown and moved to 100% virtual through early 2021. I was nervous about the success level with a virtual program, but her outcome has been outstanding. She is excelling in school and the Huntington program. She is now performing at her 2nd grade level and progressing to work on the 3rd grade. I am thoroughly pleased and truly impressed by the Huntington program and staff. I attribute my daughter's great progress to the dedicated teaching staff at Huntington Abington. Thank you for all you do.

I started off at the learning center in 7th grade because I needed help with my reading comprehension. Everyone was awesome and helpful to overcome my issue. After a few months I learned so much and I was able to meet my standards. My grades in school went up and I was able to take advanced classes in high school. Moving on, I was taking the ACT and they were able to help me get the score I have always wanted. I would 100% recommend the Huntington Learning Center to everyone. I want to thank the entire team who helped me, it has been an awesome experience.
