Breakfast Restaurant IHOP reviews
16Love the pancakes, eggs & Turkey sausage. The crepes and hash browns are good and the service is always friendly. I enjoy this as a good option for a late breakfast on a weekend
As others have mentioned the wait time for food is about 20 minutes. Friendly staff but too few to keep up with the demand. Two waitresses are not enough for an abundance of tables. We ordered the 2,2,2 and it looks like the smallest of eggs were used. The sausage was as thin as a pencil. Pancakes were good. Note the syrup is marked old fashioned. Best to bring your own maple syrup. As we drove up the front of the building is full of weeds and looks like nobody cares.
Need to balance this review:
The good first, such as friendly staff, nice people, good service service.
Now, the so-so, food hit or miss. Sometimes, it is tasty, and sometimes, it is sloppy made. Cannot blame on weekends when it is packed and cooks are tired, so it is forgivable.
The bad, the place is dirty, have seen mice running around, mold, the smell sometimes makes me lose my appetite.
So, it needs a good fix. I dislike driving to KOP to get my IHOP dosage, but may have to.
Placed an order for curbside pickup at 3: 20 PM. We called when we arrived at 3: 15 PM to notify that we were early. Finally, after waiting for 10 minutes past the pickup time, one of us had to go in to grab the order. Not surprising, our food was just sitting there.
If you say that you provide a service, provide said service. It's unprofessional and a waste of time for all parties involved.
Avoid at all costs.
Food was good but that was about it. Place was half empty but we still needed to wait 10 minutes to be seated. Server only came around to order, drop food and give us the bill. Never refilled drinks. Our drinks left puddles after they were dropped off, not from condensation but probably sloppy pouring.we asked for napkins but they never come until after the food was dropped off. Never saw anyone that resembled a manager.
Tonight was one of those rare nights that will truly go down in history fabulous from the time I walked in the door till the time I exited.the best f****** pot roast ever.it melted in my mouth the service exceptional the chef adorable that's not the IHOP I remember so whatever you're doing tonight bag it, and go to IHOP tomorrow night.it is definitely worth it take it from me
It was IHOP. The chef greeted us as we came into the restaurant. Waitress was ok. Food was good but I didn't like the taste of the English muffin under my eggs Benedict. Hash browns were stellar. Women's bathroom needs to be updated.
Incompetent waitress, didn't write our order down and screwed it up, also had to wait 30 minutes for food when patrons who came after us were served, never going back.
Place not Ike used to be. Not happy. It used to be great but just not there anymore update. I went in for breakfast and it was awesome! So glad too so I increased the stars and edited the review they certainly earned it.
Visited for breakfast on a Sunday. It was busy and we waited about 20min to get seated, food also took a while. Pancakes were very nice, french toast not too bad either.
It was okay. They were clearly understaffed. The waitress was doing a great job for being overlaoded. The food was okay. Not really the cleanest place.
Redemption! Last time I came here it was horrible. Now, it was excellent! Food was great. I'll be back. Great job turning it around
I will not return to the Blue Bell, PA location. After an expected wait, I was seated and ordered pancakes. First, I was given the bill for another table of four. Then, the waitress came and “dropped off” my pancakes - no syrup, no utensils. I had to leave my table and find the waitress. She finally brought me a plastic fork and knife, although other customers had metal utensils. I later had to ask another waitress to inform my waitress that I was waiting for my check. She finally brought it after completing other chores and delivering checks to other customers who were served after me. I told her later that I would not ever return and asked to see the manager. I was told that the manager was busy. I paid the bill and was given 93 cents too much in change. When I pointed this out, the waitress told me that she always “takes care of the cents” in her bills. I thanked her for the “tip” and left, after asking for a copy of my receipt. Very poor customer service!
Was supposed to get a refund for my order tht took 2 and a half hours to get to me after 1 one I called and ask that it just be canceled and was told ok I’ll just tell the manager. Wasn’t canceled then delivered a completely wrong order on top of tht never got the refund. Another situation happened for getting the wrong order again but I tried to give them another time but At this point im over even going to IHOP because it seems like it’s always something
Had the big steak omelet with pancakes. I'm glad I picked the pancakes instead of the hash browns. The big steak omelet is stuffed with hash browns already. I forgot how good the ihop is!
