Furniture Store IKEA reviews
16 This past weekend, i visited IKEA for the first time, and this location was my first experience.
First off; the place is huge i explored this location with some friends looking for household ideas for at least 2 1/2 hours - I learned quickly that literally, everything in each pre-built room 'module' is for sale. There's kitchens with dishes in cabinets, books on shelves, knick-knacks everywhere, rugs, blankets, cups, silverware, throw pillows, etc. It's awesome
The cafeteria area reminds me of grade school, where you grab a tray and follow the line, grabbing food until you reach the cashier at the end. Swedish meatballs are very good and around $10 for the meal with peas, mashed potatoes, and a spoonful of cranberry sauce. Very good. Plenty of seating as well, Would give 4/5 stars overall on the cafeteria
I really like how everything's laid out as well with the sales floor having directional arrows and how everything is very clearly laid out in stages from start to finish. Makes it easy to overspend by design, but they do have some very cool stuff. I'll definitely be back
Phenomenal service by Lamar the manager - so kind and personable. Helped with all my needs and went above and beyond the call of duty. Provided amazing service and was so helpful. Helped me load items into my cart. I also had amazing service at checkout and loading items into my vehicle. 10/10 would recommend to anyone! I also recommend checking out the as is section - amazing finds for amazing prices!
Poor costumer service…. My mom bought and wanted t a bed delivered and they put her through heck and cause her blood pressure to go up higher, she needed medical attention. In the end she didn’t get the bed, she didn’t needed anymore.
I had a fantastic experience at IKEA in Philadelphia! The store boasts an extensive inventory, ensuring I found everything I needed. The environment was impressively clean, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making my shopping a breeze. To my delight, I stumbled upon a delightful surprise—a cafe serving an amazing lunch. The meatballs with mashed potatoes and jam were an absolute treat. This IKEA location exceeded my expectations in every way, earning a solid 4 stars from me!
Love this store. Wish they had a store closer to me. Driving 2 hrs means this an all day adventure.
Always a fun place to visit.
It's extra helpful if you search for the products online beforehand and then go see them in person.
Ample parking available.
Close to Home Depot, Walmart, Marshall's.
They are quite understaffed for the online order pickup, so give yourself plenty of time if you are picking up any orders placed online.
Clean and well-organized. Well stocked. Good customer service. The self-service process for furniture pickup is time consuming and difficult.
Haven't even made it all the way into the showroom and so far I'm not impressed with the food service experience. We will see how the rest of the visit goes.
If my order is "ready and waiting" why do I have to stand there doing nothing for an hour and not receive my items?
Seems like a bad business model.
This place sucks. No sympathy or compensations for sending wrong items. “You should’ve made sure. Says on the contract. ” It’s not my job to make sure and second guess. Yeah Im familiar with contracts protecting your flaws and mistakes. Wasted my time and money.
WRONG ITEM SO UPSET. Talked to the customer service person in the self service area on 7/13 about finding the base for the trotten desk. After a phone call, she handed me a slip of paper and said that customer service would bring me the item after i checked out. Did that, went home, and it was the totally wrong color and size for what we had discussed. But to return it I need to disassemble it and I don’t have time to do this twice and gain nothing. So I’m just out and frustrated. Fun to shop here for small things but don’t trust them with big purchases

It's IKEA. Go look at the show rooms and then buy too many things at the marketplace. The swedish restaurant has good views of the Delaware River and the SS United States.
IKEA is awesome. Everyone in the family always has fun there not only can you shop but you can also have dinner and dessert. Most of the items here are on the cheaper side… the longevity of these I’m not sure so you are getting what you’re paying for.
This is a typical IKEA. Good food at the restaurant. If you are vegetarian or vegan, get the plant balls. Good service, fun exhibits to see their products. Similar layout as other IKEA’s.
During my trip in Italy, we decided to stop by Ikea and I have to say, I think I like it more than the ones in America.
