I was actually just a guest invited to a event there. I enjoyed the space. My friends family got food catered and decorated theirselves.
For some reason the venue didn't like them to have their own takeout containers.
There was a overwhelming amount of food left over. I stayed until the end to help clean up and we had to try to compress all the food into the pans they came In because guests didn't have a way to take any home. So we packed the left over food up and lugged it all home. Perhaps there was a misunderstanding somewhere between the host and the venue but it was strange to me

Ordered food from door dash they didn’t include all items in the order she called me and said she would bring the items herself and I sent my friend to open the door and she demanded to speak with me to hand me to items or I wasn’t getting my food she said even after their already paid for horriable business and customer service

Just incredible. Lamb chops are the best I've ever had and the greens are perfect. Nice spice and seasoning on everything. Highly recommend

Food was amazing, however the service was horrible… When I got there it was barely anyone there… I ordered my food… I had no napkins nor utensils to eat with… smh… On the other hand I was at the bar which the bartender could see me clear as day… She never asked me if I needed anything… So I finally got her attention and said when you get a chance I would like another drink… However she never checked on me again… She was too busy making people drinks who she knew… I was there about 2 hours and only had one drink… Honesty that place has no structure in place… So much potential down the drain…

The place would be great if they switched staff food Is never what it needs to be there bartender bash Philly stands in your face demanding tips pretty much and there security named Jay offers Epills to any patrons who he thinks indulges in drugs…. You want a lot night this ain’t the place

You have to call in advance to order your food, do not walk in. Trust me, you will be waiting. The food is alright.

Very nice place it's been remodeled and it looks great I haven't been there since 2018 before the pandemic and it's been a while but tonight I stepped in just to see what's going on and the restaurant next door excellent the food menu is excellent different choices different palettes and it's doing great stop and check it out very laid back

Clean very nice setup food is off the hook so good and it has a nice set of pool tables to play in had a few drinks it's a really nice establishment

I would give it 0 stars. I ordered through Uber eats and they basically gave me what they wanted to give me. I ordered fried whiting, collard greens, Mac n cheese and a side of yams. They gave me fried whiting (3 pieces) literally a spoonful of Mac n cheese (it wasn’t good) and a pile of yams and another side of yams like really. Never again Done Done that was no mistakes

Excellent place to relax, be entertained and socialize with friends. The owned is very friendlyand the place is inviting. Stop in on a Thursday or Friday. You'll like it.

Disappointed. My fish was full of bones, the mac and cheese was greasy, and the canned greens and green beans were salty. The salmon was dry without the sauce.

The ballroom is classy and the food was delicious, the live jazz entertainment is the best, check out Andrea entertainment production for live entertainment

They’ve renovated and it’s beautiful inside; great upgrades from the last time I was there

Illusions food is very good, only once did I have a complaint and they fixed it immediately. Their food is so good that my brother has started coming from De.to get food from them.

Bring your own to go bags smh. The food was just OK. We came here for the Sunday gospel brunch. For 35 dollars you don’t get much food. The wing platter comes with 3 wings and small portions for the sides. The turkey wing platter had just one medium wing. They are definitely saving money on take away containers because there is nothing left. In addition to that you have to pay for juice smh. My mother made a mistake when ordering and apologized for her mistake. The waitress was very rude and began to argue with my mother until my mother shut down her egregious behavior. She then had someone make an announcement in reference to the incident. This was very unprofessional. There was one waitress who went above and beyond and I thank her for that. This place got us. They made 215 from the 6 in our group. We will NEVER come here again
