Independence Blue Cross RiverRink reviews
15My family and I had a blast at Winterfest! We bought tickets online for ice skating and had no problems- everything was quick and convenient when getting skate rentals. It was so beautifully decorated too, inside the tents and out! Highly recommend taking a day trip here.
Breathtaking! Inside & outside! Beautiful lights with christmas decorations cozy sofas with blankets. Huge projectors for watch sports in the Lode, Arcade, Ice rink. Fire pits outside too keep you warm! Been in so many but that’s my favorite rink in US.
The staff has terrible communication on the times of skating and how long waits will be for ice. There were plenty of people behind the desk waiting for skates and all the kids was just talking and not focused on helping the guests. Additionally, they saw a guest fall right next to them (literally right in their face) and did not attempt to help on any fashion. You can tell they are simply here for a damn Christmas check and not for the experience of the guest. I would not recommend bringing anyone in your family here especially not your children because the staff does not care. Dont waste y’all time here plus it’s all pork in the food, we in Philly be inclusive and lock in.
It is a nice place to visit with the family, it has a skating area, video games for teenagers, an outdoor bonfire area, they sell tacos, corn, hot chocolates and they sell chelas, it has another place to take Christmas photos and many other things.
It was very crowded with many experienced skaters. Made it difficult for novices to avoid getting run into.
A nice skating experience! It does get crowded, though. Didn't have any food, but the hot alcoholic drinks are great. Beers are okay, but wine is not, probably barefoot. Firepit at $35/90 mins.is worth it vs.just standing around the rink, waiting to skate for your 90 min.skate window.
What Wonderful Christmas Decorations. Trees twinkling. Fires burning hot chocolate brewing. Kids and adults laughing. What a great experience. And then ice skating to top it off. So many childhood memories came back as I laced up those skates and made my way around and around and around the rink. I loved it. And if you have Blue Cross Insurance you get a discount on the entrance fee. Always a plus
Their food is very delicious and their staff is very friendly.

This is a place where you can feel a more festive atmosphere at night. You can feel the end-of-year atmosphere just by walking. Around the ice rink, there are basic entertainment options such as a Ferris wheel and a game room. We sell light food, alcohol, and coffee. For entertainment, it helps to bring cash.
Ice skating on the water amazing they created a winter wonderland.outdoor firepits drinks could get crowded at times.
Black iron closed their line without letting anyone know. Wish I hadn’t waited a long time only to be told they weren’t taking orders. Not happy to start over in another line.
A very nice and beautiful place, ice skating rink, I haven’t been to the skating rink, I don’t know what to say about it, it’s great to walk along the river along the Delaware River embankment in the evening, the Christmas tree is up for the holidays, such a festive atmosphere
Such a fun place! The people are warm and the food is too! Deep fried oreos and deep fried krimpets are the thing to eat!
I always get fried oreos when I go, line for those was pretty long but everything else was fine, wait wise.
Very nice place to visit in the winter. The atmosphere is nice and there are multiple food options. The outdoor firepits add to the ambiance!
