We are extremely happy with this company. We live locally, and my son rented a clarinet. Rather than shipping the instrument, it was promptly dropped off at our house ahead of schedule. Unfortunately, my son is very hard on things, and the instrument needed to be fixed due to improper care. Not being musicians ourselves, we didn't realize that he was putting it together without cork grease and crushing the keys as he jammed it together. The owner found us a convenient, cheap person to repair the instrument and took the time to show us how to put it together so it wouldn't happen again. He didn't charge us, but we paid anyway because it was obvious that it was my son's error. We made sure we called ahead of time to check on the brand as there are cheap and more expensive clarinet rentals. Yamaha was more expensive per month, but highly recommended from my son's music teacher over the cheaper rental, so we went with that. Service was above and beyond. I would highly recommend.

I leased a horn for my daughter. At the time, I couldn't afford to buy it outright. This purchase made sense. I paid a small deposit and they shipped it to me. It was beautiful and made my daughter's day. She is in college now with a band scholarship. This wouldn't have been possible without IQ Instruments help.

Well I love my saxophone that I just finish paying for it was so easy. They took out my payment every month on the same day. When ever I ran into any problems or when I had to use another payment method or had to extend my due date Terry was alway helpful and kind I really appreciate it. Thank you Terry

Great communication from Terry. I had questions about a product before I ordered and he responded quickly. He made me feel comfortable ordering from his website. I ordered a bass trombone for my son, and we received a beautiful new double rotar bass trombone. We bought a new mouthpiece to get a better sound from the one that came with it but other than that it’s a great horn. We will be ordering a tuba next when he hits high school. Love this site

This was a wonderful experience for our family. My daughter wanted cello lessons but the expense of the lessons plus buying an instrument outright was too much. Plus we didn't know if she would stay with it. IG allowed us to afford it all and now we own the instrument! They are great to work with and we couldn't have had a better experience.

Positive reviews are most likely fake. Look at reviews on BBB and Revdex before accepting a lease. I wish I had! As the other negative review below reported, the instruments are really cheap! I wanted to rent before committing to buying a new sax to make sure my daughter stuck with it. The sax they sent was cheap, dirty and broken upon arriving. The sax couldn't be played. I was told by the owner, Terry, to take it to a local shop and he would pay to have it fixed. 3 weeks later, it's still sitting in the shop and the shop couldn't get the owner to pay for it as he stated. Finally, after several calls to the disrespectful owner, Terry, I was able to pick the sax up. It broke again within a week of being out of the shop.

My daughter’s music instructor (I know nothing about musical instruments) said the sax was one of the cheapest and lowest quality sax’s you could get. I looked it up online and the sax sells new for around $200, a little more than what I paid as a deposit and for the first month’s payment. Think about that, it was cheap, used, dirty, and in poor, broken condition and he’s claiming he’s leasing quality instruments. Then charging you 6 times what they’re worth.

Please notice that he doesn’t tell you what brand of instruments he leases. Also, he claims they’re new or “like new”. Most people report receiving cheap, used and broken instruments. Please, if you don’t listen and follow through with a lease, make sure to get a video of he unboxing to prove the condition upon arrival. Also, when you realize you were duped, make sure to get a video of the condition as you’re boxing it back up to ship it back. He likes to charge several hundred dollars for “damages” that were not there before returning it. You’ve been warned!

This is an amazing service. I love the rent to own option if my son continues to plays. That was the main reason I picked this service, but then found it was easy and reasonable as well.

IQInstrumentRentals and Terry was great to work with. They had a basson available to rent which we could not find locally. They shipped the basson very quickly and provided great customer service. I highly recommend!

It isn't easy to find bass clarinets for rental! But IQ Instrument Rentals sent us a new one, and it enabled my son to play the instrument all year in band. It was a great sounding new instrument, too, at a reasonable price.

Being able to try out a bassoon for such a low price was phenomenal. In addition, the customer service was excellent. It's very easy to get into contact, and I was always met with a polite response when I had questions or concerns.

Good customer service, the instrument was a quality piece, and the return policy is fair. Price was a little high considering the brand but not outrageous.
