Ms. Galarza apparently writes prescriptions for controlled and other medications on behalf of Holland Village nursing home without any contact with the person in whose name these prescriptions are going to be filled in. In this case me. This has been done without reviewing the person's medical history or records or advising the person that these prescriptions had been written. The writing of the prescriptions were in violation of PA state guidelines and it seems Ms. Galarza couldn't be bothered to consult PA PDMP database that exists for the purpose of preventing illegal prescriptions from being written and filled. The writing and filling of these prescriptions has interfered with my having legitimate prescriptions for my medication, written by my long time family doctor, filled, and has had an adverse impact on my health. To compound the problem Ms. Galarza wrote additional prescriptions for these medicines dated only two days after her initial prescriptions had been filled by the nursing home and only approximately four days since she wrote the illegal prescriptions. I consider Ms. Galarza's actions to be both unethical and negligent but I leave it to the readers of this review to decide for themselves if this assessment is accurate.
