Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant, Philadelphia PA

Delicious absolutely loved it! Best service hands down I felt really comfortable. And the chicken, and crescents were very juicy.

My party of 4 was quickly seated by a hostess and greeted by a waiter. We ordered calamari, pretzel sticks (their IP mustard is fire) and the mushroom brie eggrolls as appetizers. All apps came out together and hot. Entrees were delicious. My party suggests trying the Fried Chicken Sandwich, pork belly sandwich and salmon burger. Overall customer service, food quality and price were on point. We plan to come back for happy hour!

My wife and I door-dash food from Iron Hill Brewery in Chestnut Hill. Unfortunately, our delivery food was completely wrong. We called back to let the staff know this happened. Richard the manager in charge that evening, was very friendly and understanding of the issue. Richard was able to solve the problem immediately. He even gave us a gift card with a note apologizing for what happened. Because of his hospitality and kindness, my wife and I decided that we will come back soon to Iron Hill Brewery in Chestnut Hill.

Wasn't great. The best way to put it was that it was a bunch of little things that accumulated into a frustrating time. Food was hit and miss, with the pretzels a high point and chicken sandwich the low point, the person ordering it saying it wasn't worth the calories. Went around 1pm on a Saturday and only half the tables were full. Table was sticky. Despite not being crazy busy, everything was slow. Took way too long to get everything that we wanted, around 80 minutes all told for two apps, a chicken sandwich and a small caesar salad. Guy was awkwardly cleaning right in front of us with a manual vacuum. Music was what u would hear at a club, fast tempo pop and dance, and made me want to leave, which made waiting for everything feel just a little longer. Server was friendly but disappeared at times and made tiny mistakes. Initially Brought us regular soda when we asked for diet. Prices were reasonable but still wouldn't go back. When we were waiting for the check the server couldn't be found and we asked for the check from someone else and said we had been waiting. Someone came back around and gave us the check with a very passive aggressive statement as it was handed to us. Hate to gripe, but like I said, several little things that added up to a subpar experience.

Wow, immaculate vibes all around. On top of the food and drinks being incredible, Scott served us and I’ve never felt more welcomed at a restaurant. Top shelf service from a top shelf guy. He deserves a raise.

Had a plate of nachos which filled me up so I couldn't finish my chicken Caesar salad. Had dinner with my wife and brother-in-law. Service was very good and the atmosphere was good, as usual.

Bad service from a place I use to love. I’m tired of the flat beers, order errors, and the fact they are still pulling the “covid card” of being short staffed so everyone is crammed into one section of a giant restaurant while I wait for three servers to complain about customers…

With similarly-priced cozy taverns and craft brewpubs in the area that have better food and better beer, I'm surprised that this place is here. It seems to be attempting to roll together the craft beer scene with all the ambiance of your neighborhood chain restaurant.

After your meal, they'll ask you to be a member of their club, which again, with as many cozy taverns and craft brewpubs in the area, why would you come back?

I used to come to Iron Hill a lot before the pandemic and my goodness there is a significant drop in quality. But their prices went really high. I went with family and we got a little of everything, spent a lot of money, and were ultimately disappointed. Their entree salads and burgers are $15+ and the quality does NOT match the prices. The side of green beans was $6 and had 12 green beans in it - massive rip off! Their sweet potato fries will set out back $12 and taste like boring sweet potatoes. Their French fries are not good but cost high for the price of a potato.
In the end, my family was mad at me for recommending this place. Very sad to say I will probably not return as it is not worth the prices.

Service is just amazing. Staff is highly professional, attentive and polite, serving is fast. Food is exceptionally delicious and tasty, portions are good enough. This location is definitely great. Highly recommending this restaurant, great experience every time.

Stopped during Arts Fest and had the Pumpkin Ale and Oktoberfest, both were great! Super busy at the bar but the building is huge and there were a ton of dining tables available. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

We went for a late lunch. The fries were cold and burnt and the seafood bisque soup was watery and tasteless. Certainly did not live up to the Iron Hill quality we're used to at other locations. With that said the waiter abd the service he provided was exceptional.

Me and my sister went tonight for dinner and when I say Caroline K.went above and beyond, from helping us pick the right beer to fast service I cant wait to go back.

Where my spouse and I were sitting was I thought a good area. We were close enough to the bar but not right at the bar. So I happened to look in the floor at the perfect time and seen a MOUSE run from our table to behind the bar…I almost jumped out of my seat. We immediately told the waitress what we had seen, she apologized came back 3m later and said they’d take the APPETIZERS off my tab. Which to me wasn’t good customer service at all. No manager approached us (we waited to see) and secondly our whole meal should have been free. (not bc we didn’t want to pay or couldn’t pay) but Bc we seen a MOUSE and after seeing that I instantly STOPPED eating and was no longer interested in being at the restaurant. I get restaurants have rodents but it becomes an issue when the consumer can see it during business hours. I could made a big deal but I wanted to maintain my professionalism But I did want to put this matter on notice bc how you treat ppl determines your traffic. So I say this to say consumer be careful at this location! In Chestnut hill

This location is really not worth it. The waiter was dull and forgetful. The food was disappointing and the egg rolls I had made me ill 30 minutes after having them. Into the next day and I'm just now feeling better. Never again.

So listen, if you're in chestnut hill you really should be supporting local restaurants. There are a ton and many are great. However, for an easy solution with the kids or your in-laws are in town, you could do a lot worse.

The service, food, and beer were great. Unfortunately it seems like their HVAC is struggling this summer. Felt like it was at least 80° inside while it was 100° outside.

I came here on Thursday, June 16,2022 at 5: 45 PM and was seated in ten minutes. The waitress made two circles around the building before finding a table for us. First off, the table is sticky and disgusting. The menu, napkins, and utensils were messily placed on the table. I physically could not lift the menu off of the table because of how sticky it was. I ordered an unsweetened iced tea and my friend ordered iced tea. Waitress said "2 iced teas" and came back with 2 unsweetened iced teas. Lovely, because that's exactly what we ordered but didn't really care at this point because we were starving and it really was not that big of a deal. Their signature appetizer, "Jerk Shrimp" for $15.75 with jumbo marinated and grilled shrimp, golden pineapple chutney, and mango-lime sauce was amazing. The herb chicken & linguine for $19.25 with mushrooms, spinach, sun-dried tomatoes, pecorino romano, sherry wine butter sauce was also amazing. My friend ordered a cheeseburger. The food was divine, it was just the service that was disappointing. It's completely understandable that restaurants are busy but they were fully staffed and we barely had any assistance. I did not bother asking for anything because I knew that they would not come to us anyways. All in all, I personally would not come back here because it gives off a very hostile environment and made me extremely uncomfortable to even be here. 2 stars for the food. The other 3 stars were for the service, the uncleanliness, and just the unnecessary stares that we received from other people.

Iron hill is probably one of my favorite restaurant chains, and this location does not disappoint. The food and the service was great. Iron hill is a great place to eat for a casual outing. The location is downtown chestnut hill and there is street parking all over. Definitely recommend to all.

Philly cheesesteak egg rolls (10/10) : This has always been a go-to for me at all the IH locations. These are seriously a must get! They are amazing. Flavor is perfect.

Nachos w/ Chicken (10/10) : Big portion and perfect app to share with others. These nachos were delicious and definitely worth the price. Amazing!

Blackened Chicken Linguine (9/10) : Great dish. Chicken was cooked perfectly and was moist. The sauce was pretty good. I liked this dish and would get again

The food and the wait staff were great. The person who took your information that you're there waiting for a seat was a little, how do I put it. Like it was too much trouble for her. Other than that everything was great!
